  1. i was hoping to put them in and start it up this weekend thats all, ive sent an email to the tuner, so hopefully he responds by the weekend.. looks like i wont be using the stock reg, just got a turbo smart one, do you still use 43.5psi with 1000cc injectors or do they prefer a bit more pressure?

Thats where i bought them, i asked about it and they said all they have is the deadtimes list, so that has 0.990 at 14v deadtime is same as latency is that right? so its 0.990m/s if thats right then i just need to work out the first part. What are they charging for the walbro, i didnt know they had them, ive seen them for $190.
  3. anyone know what the settings for Xspurt 1000cc are? using a power fc with stock regulator, was given info on the deadtimes and at 14v its 0.990, thats all i have. my old nismo 555's were - 62.5% 0.18ms what should the new settings be? 37% 0.990ms ???

  5. why does it say on the garrett website that there interchangable?

It doesnt look like it,but if the inside was ceramic coated it could have that issue, when i had mine coated the turbine was a bit too tight on the housing, so i filed the coating off round there... On the garrett website theres also a turbo called a gt3271, which has a turbine diameter of 64mm , is your turbo definitely what you think it is? wonder if that turbine would of been better on the exhaust side of the gtx3076...
  7. I think some, not all, police enjoy hassling skyline drivers, ive been pulled over 4times now and they try to accuse me of doing a burnout or running a red light. I was actually tailgated by them for a few kilometers in a undercover camry until i overtook the car infront to get away from them, then the sirens went on and i knew they were undercover... it was deliberate harrassment to make me react and do somthing silly... my brother got pulled over and the accusation was " i sore you boosting back there, brother was driving normal upto 2500rpm" so he was told to change his driving style" since when has comming onto a few psi of boost in normal city driving breaking the law?
  8. my brother has one on his skyline, surges its nuts off and has done several 13flat quarters, pulls hard from 3500 with 0.8Bar, people say that its a terrible turbo and probably is being that unbalanced, if there was away around the surging i think it would make a good street turbo, it left my 2871 highflow for dead... but maybe its in the A/R etc too.. i seen one on a sr20, it had an anti-surge cover and external gate and alot of boost, although id just go a GT3076 for all that expense.
  9. Thats some frequent top ups for a car thats so good on fuel, even after hours on the dyno my oil level doesnt fall , gets very dark looking though, try some Mobil 1 instead... is it possible the oil rings have broken?

  14. if its quiet it will most likely have a restrictor, when i put my old system on after it had a loud system, the silencer was having effects cause the car was running hotter, not pulling so hard and a couple of times i heard it knocking.. so you may need timing taken out.
  15. My brothers car has a good setup, uses Rays 17inch with Kumho 265''s, Monroe sport shocks , pulls very hard with no slip in second It does take a few squirts to really start gripping though, maybe those michelins just arnt up to the job...
  16. yeah funny how the fronts look like they stick out more than the rear, but i get that with mine also, its hard to get the rears looking more aggressive than the front on a gtst, you car looks very purposeful, show and go...
  17. do you know what boost your running? cause i remember when i got a FMIC first put on without a tune, the boost rose from 12 upto 15psi and when that happened it was like running on 4cylinders...

  21. its a cannon muffler with the silencer in it, keeps the sound right down at idle and low speed but sounds angry when reved up... looking for $100 , cheap for what it is..
