  1. that power curve looks atleast if not better than alot of gt3076's , very nice around 4000rpm.

  6. does anyone know or have experience with power enterprise injectors , they do an 850cc injector which is $160each, would this be a good thing for a E85 setup upto 340kw and would they idle nicely and be no drama fitment on stock rail??? would really appreaciate feedback before i make decisions.. ;not sure bout xspurt injectors if i need to stuff round with rail...

  8. hearing that you've gone gtx3076 is reassuring, cant wait to see your results and when boost comes on etc. so if using E85 on stock bottem end , can you really safely reliably push into 340kw? or do you think your kind of gambling?
  9. can you tell me who you use to tune your car? pm if you like, finding a good tuner is like finding an honest car salesman, walk in and ask, so do you know much about ethanol tuning? "oh sure mate, do heaps of them!!" when you've left, " anyone seen that ethanol tuning maunal???" anyone?? lol
  10. that was just a tuner who i asked his opinion, what is a good setup then ? what do i need to run the pump stuff?

This is confusing, spoke to a differnt tuner today, said if im using a power fc then ill have to use E85 in drums because unless i have haltech or similar where i can change the tune for varying tanks , like if they tune at 72ethanol and then i get a tank of 62% it will stuff my fuel mixture up. also said i need to run 68psi fuel pressure with some power enterprise 800cc can some confirm is this about right?
  12. Warwick? im pretty sure theres some close by , well 40mins away at kessels rd mt gravatt which is on the way to the city anyway. That would be from the pump, so is it right in saying the tuner will tune it not on the egde to account for if the ethanol content varies?
  13. how long would it take to clean the motor if your running ethanol? or would that matter if your running ethanol?

Im starting to think its to do with the tuner, he didnt take very long, most of it was done within an hour, on the graph its only holding 16psi and you'd think he would of said, "mate, there only mild cams, you got some issues with leaks somwhere", it even stalled on him on the drive home, i think fix up this leak and possibly change the wastgate spring for a 1bar spring and even replace the resonator and then retune with E85.
  15. How would a GTX3076 go with a 0.63 rear housing ( external) assuming it had either water/meth or E85?? assuming it had 22psi, would it be a fail or quite good?

If you know what your doing you can try ramping up the boost with the AVCR, ive had the same lazy boost issues recently with my gtx3076, finally found the intake manifold gasket had been blown out , also wondering about the resonator if it has a restrictor inside like the old muffler had in it.
  17. keep driving it with those knock levels and you'll find yourself walking home.. i was told anything over 60 is getting dangerous... so dont drive it that hard til you have tune, your probably running out of fuel with the hypergear turbo.
  18. If i were in japan id be knocking on smokey Nagata's door!! Pretty sure my brothers car has been in his shop, has a "Top secret" computer and a GT28 and pulls off high 12sec quarters . on 12psi too.. its a mystery to me, every time he squirts it , it feels like it keeps picking up more and more power. so go see smokey

If it were my car, id be very concerned with the following: JUST RECENTLY INSTALLED JJR PERFORMANCE COIL PACKS SECOND HAND CAM ANGLE SENSOR , AIR FLOW METER AND IGNITOR FROM SUMO JAP SPARES all of the above sounds dodgy to me, everything is either shitty or second hand, so even if it did run well , how long would it stay that way? JJR coilpacks sound cheap and nasty..

I have a bleeder on my radiator cap, dont know if that would do a better job or not compared to the bleeder on the manifold, you have a similar setup to me too, interesting how once the GT30 went on, my temps have come down from low 80's to low 70's. Is the water pump the right one? could the belt be slipping on the pulley?
  21. im probably wrong here, but isnt there a part where you adjust what the computer sees , like a reading for different temperatures, maybe someone can provide more, but looking on my power fc it looks like you could almost foul the power fc with the inputs for each temp.???
  22. is the cat blocked? drop the system off and try to rev it up?
  23. just curious, if the tuner dropped the exhaust on the dyno how would the gases get collected, from what i seen the fans or whatever that suck them up and deal with them are right at the back of the dyno room, so wouldnt that fill the room up with fumes???
  24. 1-standard coilpacks should be replaced, there old 2-whats going on with that power output? thats a low figure for that boost isnt it??? i was recently speaking to MTQ and they were talking about a guy that made 300kw with a gt3071, but surely atleast 260kw's is expected.
  25. i dont have a GTR i have an rb25det with tomei cams and exhaust is the only cam thats adjustable
