  3. that statement is absolutely wrong. There are 3 or 4 different version of hand controllers and they don't just plug into any ECU, they need to be matched up. THey have a model number on the back.
  4. powering it up without a signal won't hurt it. Mine is fine, I just need it to power with a logo, so I can sit at my desk and test some things to solder it up so the back lights start working properly again. Its too hard to plug into the powerfc in the car and try and solder it there

  12. just so you know, GTR injectors at 440cc and can do about 290rwkw, so 480cc will do just over 300rwkw. lol, that should help the sale. Also, one of my friends is successfully using this with no problems.
  13. well, I can say that the GT3037 and the Garrett 0.63 rear housing is like a f**ken hooker on speed. full boost at 4100rpm (20psi) and makes 310rwkw before the back pressure starts to show its ugly head. oh, and its not laggy..... Between the 2871 48trim and this one, I'd say the difference under 3,000rpm is barely noticable. Driven 2 x R33s with these setups, and Dale_FZ1 is just waiting to drive my car to confirm this. Don't worry dale, I'll get down there sometime soon I hope

  15. well, for starters, I'm pretty sure the NEO's are fitted with RB26 rods from the factory so that would make them stronger. They are also 9.3:1 Compression as opposed to the 9:1 compression of the R33 RB25

  20. well, my engine produces a flys dick over 500hp, and it has standard internals. I'm sure even the base range of forged pistons will be suitable. 500ehp = 420rwhp = 310rwkw.

  22. 400rwkw out of a GTR fuel pump? Sounds like a load of shit to me. I got 300rwkw out of my walboro 255lph, BUT it wouldn't go below 12.8:1 afrs... I didn't mind because I run WMI. I opened the injectors full on the power fc and the afr's didn't change. So it would be safe to say that the walboro 255lph could only hold 250rwkw safely. Anything else and you're asking for a blown engine. Anymore more than 14psi of boost is asking for trouble with them too. A lot of people are too ignorant to understand that boost has a heavy impact on the fuel pump that you are running cause boost is pushing back on the injectors..

  24. yeah well think about it - rail pressure is 42psi + your boost (maybe 12psi?) Thats a total of 54psi fuel pressure needed to drive the injectors. I don't know about you but thats putting the pump on edge and I wouldn't risk it. Its a POS. Actually, it was meant for NA applications..... Its pretty obvious..
