  4. dont wanna be a dickhead but ur the guy that runs east coast cruzin yeah?? if so LU57IN is helpiing spread the word about Autostyle and in return have lambos and shit come on the cruises. All i know about Autostyle is that they have awsome cars on display. I drive past there basically everyday. anyway here is the link to east coast cruzins page. They have had some good turnouts http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/East-Coast-Cruisin-SYD/153120411401074?sk=wall
  5. love it. This is why i hate people who give up in long distance runs. Just gotta push through the wall and all will come good.
  6. Time too add this SS8_Gohan's R34 GTR
  7. would like to bump this Just remembered the survey and how i suggested the Carsales type search for the classifieds/cars for sale. A lot of people also liked the idea and i remmember R31Nismoid said that they were going to do this. If a.carsales type search thing is too much at least get them divided by States,or make the seller put [NSW] or [QLD] because there have been numerous times i have seen something awsome, to then go on to find out that its from VIC or SA
  8. punchbowl road going towards belfield
  9. there seems to be a few cars that are widely hated amongst JDM enthusiasts. the FTO is 1, another is the 300ZX. idk whyevry hates the fto so much. anyway here is an FTO that looks good
  10. saw a Red Ford GT the other week. If im not mistaken, its the only one in Aus. also an orange Murcielago. also a 360
  11. sorry if i offended you, because i didnt intend to do that. I was just highlighting somethig you said as it seems to be a reacurring theme with L platers attitudes towards the 120 hour rule. Imo every one should do the 120 hours. To me, the more you drive, the higher chance you will encounter and experiance a range of situations, conditions (rain, fog, night) and roads (country, suburban, highways, windy, busy main roads) For example, around mid way through my l's, I was entering the M5 at Beverly hills east bound. (anyone who knows what im talking about will know this is a busy entrance to the M5) Anyway there was a BMW SUV in front of me, and upon entering the highway from the ramp he changed lanes onto the highway without looking, it cut off a Semi tralier (the double carraige truck???). the truck then had to slam on its breaks, as its tail wrapped sideways and almost rolled while the tyres smoked up the highway. As the smoke cleared i drove on and because of this experiance i will always make sure to be extra careful when entering highways especially with trucks as they arre so heavy and take a long time to stop. basically, my point is, if you drive around for 20 hours with your parents around the local area. your not going to witness or experiance anything realistic. you will take the road for granted and think your invinsible and that nothing will go wrong. where as if you drive the 120 hours covering rainy, night, foggy caking things such as onditions driving on all types of roads, the chances are you will gain greater experiance and maybe even witness things that will alter your behaviour, for the better However much the 120 hours can help a driver gain experiance, taking driver deffensive courses will help even more.
  12. imo, this is a poor attitude that many l platers have. I actually dont know many people that completed their 120 hours legit. Many of my friends forged lots of the hours. some even forged arounnd 100 of the hours. Im surprised the parents dont give a shit. At the end of the day, it is a large amount of time, but i think more people should make the effort.
  13. wow, since i joined SAU ive come to learn, that the performance of cars isnt as simple as reading a power figure. There are so many factors etc. that contribute to a cars actual real life performance. prob sound like a bit off a noob, but ive learnt alot
  14. maybe some one like mad082 can answer how much it would cost to reach the power figure this skyline was putting down. Because in comparison to the Na RB25DE skylines ive seen this is an impressive result.
  15. my bad wasnt made by Nismo, it was made by autech "1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R Autech Sedan BCNR33. Autech is an in-house Nissan tuning arm, and released the sedan for the 40th anniversary of the Skyline." anyone able to clarify any of the figures listed??
  16. exemptions are hard to get and the laws were put in place in 2007 so most of the people who got their p's before than would have their fulls by now. So all these guys dont give a shit or somehwo got an exemption
  17. yeh i understand that, the point of my post is, how awsome would it be if we could get a camaro for $30 000 dollars.
  18. Searched the Forums and discovered there were no topics relating to production numbers of all models of the Skyline GTR. Thought this could be a great reference thread. These figures were sourced from numerous website on the internet, which most claimed to have used the Andy Butler book "Skyline GTR". I myself dont have the book but found out some of you SAU users do after a quick search - GTR Book. So it would be good if some of you could help with some of the numbers which are unknown. Also were built in 2005 using used GTR V Spec, V Spec II's with less than 29 000KM which were completly stripped than rebuilt. Again it would be good if we could get confirmation of these numbers and also help finding the number of R33 GTR N1's produced as well as the break up of those R34 spec models.
  19. bit late but Tuesday night (12/7) saw a dark coloured R32GTR with R34GTR rims at Earlwood, then 3 mins later at beverly hills a white/silver R32 GTR around 9PM
  20. its so annoying that you can buy an 317KW SS CAMARO FOR $31K and you can also buy a 270KW SS Commodore for around $50K (estimate??) so for those $20 000 you are getting 2 extra doors, 50 less KW, almost 200KG more weight. etc,etc... point is you get more for your money also a sports coupe???? having said that, if GM decided to sell the camaro here, it would not cost 30K.....unfortunatley.
  21. i love the mustang in the backround
  22. errrrrr, maybe try a Japanes site or even better a US site
