  1. its an 260RS according to Nissan. From what i understand, Autech get the partially completed car, all stamped up from nissan and convert them in their own workshop, so the original plate would remain I guess. I think i got the right VIN # through your crisply focused photo.
  2. cant read, need a better resolution
  3. if its not too long, i can translate it for you, just post a scan of what you want to know. Simon
  4. give me your vin and ill tell you correct one
  5. part #s: model specific, some say RSfour,Stagea....etc
  6. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ex...it-t200623.html use this method, turn on ign and jumper the pins for a few seconds then record the number of short and long flashes
  7. what are your error codes ?
  8. last time i did mine I found it easier to just splice the bare wires together for the EL O2 sensor to Nissan connector, instead of pulling the connector apart, but I was being lazy. Worth checking the price on a new NGK one, they list a part number for the R33, should be same, someone can confirm. see pic.
  9. Bosch EL is fine, just a bit fiddly with the connector, prob correct with diagnosis, worth replacing anyway as O2 sensors are only good for about 100k.
  10. http://www.depuluwheels.com/ just had my 4 factory wheels repaired, guttermarks removed, resprayed in colour of choice (R34 GTR), very satisfied. $650 for all 4.
  11. need your Jap VIN, try again.
  12. 41080-21U25, same for 33 and 34. It is a kit with all the shims/clips etc, little pricey, around $120 from memory last time i checked. see how you go with your dealer.
  13. I replaced mine with an R34 Gtt KOYO alloy one on NENGUN.COM, direct replacement for a S2, not sure about S1. Not sure about exact thickness, but about 3 times thickness of standard one.
  14. there may be easier and less messy ways, but the way I do it is, 2 hoses on bottom of resovoir, one is fluid return, other is fluid out. Place towel under resovoir, unhook return hose, (dont ask me which one is which ?) need to plug up hose connector on bottom resovoir immediately to stop it draining, use same diameter piece of hose with tight bolt in other end. I then extend this return hose with another piece of hose and a hose connector so you can feed it into a waste container. get new fluid ready, have mate turn on engine and make sure resovoir starts draining, if not then you prob have wrong hose, once nearly empty start filling resovoir, keeping a good fluid level, have mate turn wheel side to side a few times. Once drained fluid colour changes to new fluid, stop, reconnect, check level. Go for drive, check level again.
  15. ok, just see how you go after a fluid change, as its most probably 9 year old fluid, you would be surprised how easily it heats up. Then turn your attention to your pump if no result.
  16. consider a power steer fluid cooler, sounds like the fluid is heating up, changing its viscosity, creating the heavy steering feel. Most of the Skylines are fitted with a small tube one, our cars were not designed be thrown around as much. Not sure what the hose is, also consider changing the fluid, i use transmax Z in my PS, found it gives a lighter feel and handles the higher temps better. Ive been planning a PS cooler for a while now, ill get round to it soon.
  17. Hey, those ones relate to your options. confirmed in FAST and from the option code list. 15. ( A ) rear wiper 16. ( P ) big front spoiler 18. ( C ) side seat airbag where 15, 16, and 18 relate to the postion of the letter in the model code. 18th code ( C ) did not fit on the line in the pic, in case you were wondering.
  18. stand by, It depends on year model, and i need to get it translated, ill get later tonight.

  20. yep, however descriptions are all japanese, no english at all.
  21. Ive got a 2001, 2007 and 2008 version of FAST, ill check the VIN when i get home. One thing I have noticed on the 2008 version is that most, if not all, VINS exported from Japan, aka 'ours', have been removed/deleted. (prob not relevant in this case as most people are using '01 version).
  22. My Teins also squeaked, it had been buggin me for a while, read somewhere after lots of searching that the tein dust covers can cause this squeak, as they are a hard plastic, and rub on the strut body (and in my opinion arent much good for sealing out dust). Anyway, replaced them with some softer silicon dust covers from Pedders, 3 months later all OK and silent.
