    like any industry, a few cowboys around, yours sound pretty thorough, stick with them. As for Freddy's problem, like Andy said, O2 sensor as well, get yourself a highflow exhaust+cat, trashing the cat the compliance shop stuck on. But 100km for 1/2 tank sounds pretty major. What city are you located in ?

    Ive taken possesion of an import from compliance shop with the oil filter rusted on, trust them at your peril.

    Sounds like something is seriously wrong, as you already know, could be one of many things, even drivetrain going off your comments. So when you are in reverse on flat does it need accel to move ? or in N can you push it ? Like all imports, get ALL fluids changed (oil,tranny, transfer, R diff, F diff, brake, powersteer, radiator), plugs/filters changed, as most of them would be original Nissan. Does it idle smoothly ?

    N-Kid, When Perth traffic gets as stationary as the eastern capitals, you may wish you have an Auto, in the mean time, no need to call me pathetic and half-brained just because TT autos dont suit your personal preference. Some of us, me included, prefer the more relaxed, smooth drivin' qualities of our autos, especially in a 1700kg wagon. Enuff said...

    standard temperature part numbers from NGK japan site is BKR6EIX-11, BKR6EIX-11P for iridiums and PFR6G-11 for platinums. However, my Iridiums only lasted for about 30k before they started breaking down in my NEO, maybe a temp range problem ? gone back to the platinums.

    Guys, just got my hands on a MAY 2008 FAST DVD from Japan, all Japanese models from late 80's up to May this year, including R35 GTR, M35, V35, V36 etc. its quite difficult to install so im writing up some instructions and will make some copies and will put them in the FOR SALE section soon.

    yes, you should get a much better reception without the FM band expander.

    here is a pic of mine. Ive got a TV version stagea, so configuration might be different. They are hard wired in, no mini plugs, not sure what they are for. Have you checked it is wired up behind the head unit ?

    Did the 34 GTR rims come out in 2 different colours, or is it just the light during the photo ?, see pic. I want to paint my rims in the 34 GTR rim colour but some pics i see are GOLD and come are more a GUNMETAL GREY. In FAST there are 2 different part numbers, changing over in late 1999. Anyone know the truth ? or even confirm the correct colour code(s) ? thanks

    its an aerial, but probably not genuine, maybe for an aftermarket TV / GPS, trace it and see where it connects to. do you have them in your back side windows ?
