  1. the screen will only display a NTSC signal, so unless your DVD player can output in NTSC (not only PAL), wont work.
  2. yes, unusable as is, unfiltered air into turbo/engine, loss of boost, rough idle, wrong mixtures and prob a couple of other negatives people may add. You could get it repaired at a radiator shop, or compare the price of buying another one.
  3. just press the auto button, top right i think
  4. I could have a look next monday, are you sure your car was a 'cold area' version, you have the windscreen elements as well ? i would think one plug would be the mirror motors and other the heater, but only on Cold area cars.

  9. the Japanese manual was traded a few years ago amonst members, PM me if interested.
  10. you will lose the fan cooling when stationary, so it will be hotter in traffic, I run 2 in parallel (not series), my 2nd cooler is their but ive got a small motorcycle size fan with an 85deg thermoswitch sensor in the auto pan, as i do a lot of towing, but its only ever come on once, sitting in traffic on a 38 deg day. You could run a 2nd one there without a fan, as long as you keep factory one where it is. Also you need to cut out some slots at back to get better airflow through, as in intercooler side. I also run synthetic fluid and LUBEGARD additive.
  11. mines a 2000 and has 7 marks. 0 to 30. As the NEO Stagea workshop manual also states. The 1st mark (orange) will be tdc, going clockwise, each 5 degree mark is approx 6mm. For some unknown production reason they may have just used a different pulley for some period.
  12. aerials sold out, factory fitment only.
  13. Units are $250 delivered or $240 pick up from brisbane, for V35s you also need an RCA adaptor from Chris Rogers, as well as an RCA cable and a relay. You would have to talk to an installer re installation if you are not able to do it yourself, plenty of guys have done the install themselves on M35 and V35s, maybe you could get some assistance. About a 1-2 hour job on the simpler S2 Stageas. Basic guide here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...ml&hl=asuka
  14. Anyone still interested in digital tuner for their V35, pm me while i still have a couple left, cheers

Left overs from 2nd stagea group buy held earlier this year. Reverse camera switching. Excellent range and reception. specs: http://www.asuka-semi.com.tw/product.php?l...en&id=10014 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...ig-t203961.html Price: pick up from Brisbane $240 Posted anywhere in oz: $250 If you dont have factory TV and require antennas, I have 2 sets @ $50 each (set=2 x rod style antennas). PM please, thanks.
  16. dont want to rain on your parade, but a lower thermostat, especially one this low will do a couple of things. Firstly, if you are running a stock ECU, the engine will be constantly trying to warm itself by running rich until the proper temps are achieved...hence higher fuel consumption, lower performance and added engine wear on cold days (engine clearances are designed for the stock temps). Also it wont lower the temps on hot days, as the thermostat will be fully open on both standard and low temp thermos ay around 90, so no difference. Your temps are not that high, consider a radiator upgrade first.
  17. Off the topic a bit, i just had mine tinted, (ceramic not metal as not to block the window aerial reception), made it much cooler, talking to a few people, the privacy glass is not actually a tint, just a dye within the glass and being darker absorps heat and has not reflecting properties. re the TV, there are 4 tv aerials, 1 each in side rear windows and 2 in back window, assuming these are ok, someone may have just fiddled with some settings, ie put it in PAL mode rather than NTSC. try this: tv on press menu press right x2 down x2 ok down then ok to scroll between NTSC PAL AND AUTO. If that does anything check the country region, get to a good reception area and rescan the channels. ps it will not receive any HD channels.
  18. -access the CONSULT port, bottom right side of dash behind flip down door. -ignition OFF -ground bottom middle terminal using a wire. -ignition ON -observe flashes (also beeps) of ABS light -it will start with '12', (1 long flash then 2 short.) -it will then flash the fault codes. -to clear the codes, whilst in this diagnostic mode, disconnect the grounded terminal, then ground it 3 or more times, for at least 2 sec, within 12.5 sec. restart diagnostic mode to check if thwey have been cleared. May take a few attempts before the codes clear. 21 Front right wheel sensor (open circuit) 22 Front right wheel sensor (short - circuit) 25 Front left wheel sensor (open circuit) 26 Front left wheel sensor (short circuit) 31 Rear right wheel sensor (short circuit) 32 Rear left wheel sensor (short circuit) 35 Rear left whel sensor (open circuit) 36 Rear left whell sensor (short circuit) 41 Front right outlet solenoid valve and circuit 42 Front right inlet solenoid valve and circuit 45 Front left outlet solenoid valve and circuit 46 Front left inlet solenoid valve and circuit 55 Rear outlet solenoid valve and circuit 56 Rear inlet solenoid valve and circuit 57 Battery voltage 61 ABS actuator motor and motor relay circuit 63 ABS acutuator relay circuit 64 FR & RR G sensor 1 65 FR & RR G sensor 2 66 FR & RR sensor 1 or 2 68 G sensor voltage 69 Side G sensor voltage 71 ATTESA E_TS PRO/ABS control unit and circuit 72 Throttle position sensor 73,74 E-TS/LSD actuator motor 76,77 Pressure switch 78 Air bleed switch 79 Oil level switch 91,92,93 E-TS solenoid 94,95,96 E-TS fail safe solenoid 97,98,99 LSD solenoid
  19. Been running without an auto radiator for 4 years, no problems (in qld), from what ive read and heard, including local transmission guys, it's only needed in cold temp areas, its a common bypass.
  20. from memory, press the japanese writing button on the left next to the tv button when watching tv, this will bring up a few slider bars which will adjust the pic.
  21. mine was around $600 3 years ago.
  22. ive fitted KOYO 53mm R34 GTT radiator, no problem. Didnt worry about auto radiator, no need, slight mod to side of factory shroud.
