  1. huh ?... I think the whole point is to correct the speedo so he doesnt speed.
  2. a workshop could do it easily in an hour.
  3. yep, its normal, part of the assembly procedure in the Nissan workshop manual as well.
  4. exactly, for use with standard ECU, OEM replacements.
  5. nothing illegal about it, corrects in 1% increments. Its a bit confusing to program it, but works perfectly once setup correctly, there are better commercial units around, but none i know of work on Nissans.
  6. This is the only speedo corrector I have found that works with Nissan's unique AC speed signal. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?I...mp;form=KEYWORD http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/111435-speedo-c...ed-r33-gtr.html
  7. yeah, METS2 is the MFD on dash, cold weather versions usually have heated wipers and side mirrors, and the rear safety light in place of one of the reverse lights.
  8. Is there a direct replacement for the R34 Gtt injectors, apart from NISSAN, perhaps DENSO ? part # ? Im not after bigger ones nor reconditioned/performance ones, just new standard ones. thanks
  9. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=3569100 check the orientation of the plug, pretty sure it is upside-down in the R34 compared to the S2 Stagea. ignition on, no need to start, jumper the pins for a few seconds and remove.
  10. easy as swapping 2 wires, swap dark green and grey. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ti...mp;hl=tiptronic

  12. Here you go, with a bucket load of options as well, BRAK6 big rear brake COAT3 super fine hard coat COLD2 cold weather version CVRR2 advanced aero system GLSSW privacy glass LMRF2 rear fog lamp METS2 multi-display meter STERX audioless STTMJ M-spec model SUSP2 ripple control shocks WIPR2 rear wiper
  13. th panel surrounding the vents with STAGEA written on it pops out, use something flat and wide at top and pry it out.
  14. yes, 1 bulb at back for odo.
  15. send me your VIN and I can check further in FAST, you may have a different instrument cluster (autech). Does the light come on at start ? stay on, never come on ??
  16. You need a bypass harness to plug into the back of your screen, not a case of cutting wires, Chris Rogers sells these, if you are lucky then you may have one installed by your previous jap owner, a give away is a small black oval switch located in cabin somewhere which turns the bypass off/on. Not sure how the factory reverse system works, Chris could tell you, I run my reverse cam through my digital tv tuner, which has reverse cam input and switches automatically when reverse lights activate.
  17. You will be able to squeeze the hose over 3/8" using 5/16" hose, not a problem.
  18. screen can only display only NTSC, just need a tuner or DVD player that can convert.
  19. now im with ya..just a nickname..
  20. like Chris said, decent 'twin receiver' digital tuner (which outputs in NTSC), pm me or Chris for this, adapter plug for factory tuner from Chris, have Chris install it or I can give you some basic instructions if you want to have a go yourself. Basically it connects to the AV input on the factory tuner and also connects into the factory TV antennas. Sorry Stephen, what's Nth melbourne ?
  21. TV is easily converted to oz digital, plenty of threads on this.
  22. this is for engine oil, all you need for transmission is a cooler and 8mm or 5/16 oil hose (pirtek sells good stuff). Shouldnt cost you more than $100 for everything. Ive got a Stagea S2 cooler for sale in the Stagea classifieds section if you want to have a look. I also replaced my radiator a few years ago so dont use the radiator cooler(heater). You just need to find a spot for your cooler, preferably in the air flow and make up brackets etc.
  23. When you shift kit a box using an MV automatics VB, you remove some springs and place welch plugs in some of the fluid chambers under the VB. If you take off VB and still have 4 springs there, probably not shift kitted.
