I guess the scenario just went against my grain. To come all that way and dissappoint so many people by not running due to such relatively minor bruising was sad. Witness the shitstorm we went through during Superlap with Berry and Newman's cars. Short engine came from Brisbane for one, heli-coiling the head studs on another, all in an effort to have a full grid of cars for ourselves and the punters. Reasonable write up in the latest Unique Cars, though Bowe holds a grudge don't he! haha

Well, turns out I was wrong. I put the Brembos and Ds3000's in August 2008, and the car has done approx 10,000 competetive kilometres since. The pads are a little over half worn, and the rotors have had one VERY light skim, like, 5 thou. That, my friends, is ecenomical braking

Yeah my 32 GTS-t had GTR Sumitomos (w/- Endless) on it when I got it and was fine for 5 to 6 laps of Winton, but after that started to lose pedal consistancy. So, for around $2k fitted (incl NEW front rotors/pads and second hand alloy hats) I had the entire Brembo package on it front and rear. I wanted it for piece of mind for one particular stage at targa Tasmania that is particularly hard on brakes where it performed perfectly.
