  1. I'll fix the failure that is the mesh in the front bar done by the previous owner and it will look a lot nicer. The rest of the car is virtually mint. No interior marks at all, perfect sills, not one accident touch up, near perfect paint. But I still want that Monaro!!!!! lol
  2. Superb post Chris, brought a lump to my throat.
  3. it's a genuine C-West kit complete with undertray. I'm not usually a fan of kits, but this one does make the wheels look a little less enormous, and to be frank I haven't come across someone yet that doesn't think it looks awesome in the flesh. So I guess I'm saying it's grown on me
  4. Yep, got it Monday, abobroad minded personely beautiful condition 47k V-Spec, in fact, probably the tidiest I've seen! A few nice mods, including a brand new set of 19 x 10.5 Rays Nismos. Excuse the shitty camera phone pic. It's been raining hard hence no decent shots. It's left quite a dent in the play money, and funnily enough I spotted this Monaro ad 2hrs after doing the deal on this! LOL
  5. If I hadn't just bought a 34 GTR I honestly would be all over this ....
  6. No idea.........
  7. So I hear on the grapevine that the Scion is coming from the States! It's apparently now up to 1200hp and has undergone a 4WD conversion with a custom billet alloy cased gearbox! I also hear he's flying the thing over! haha I think the entry list is nearing 10 internationals, which would be awesome!
  8. Berry reckons it's a V-spec diff Savman..... I dreamt about it last night! hahaha
  9. They're 32R wheels, and GTR Brembos by the looks too. Looks suspiciously like GTR rear driveshafts too. What's that rear diff though... looks familiar? I reckon R200 front and rear would be the go. I think it's fairly useless at fitting into any class in 4WD configuration, but as a "special" is would be wicked! Run what ya brung!
  10. You got room to store it Harry? lol
  11. http://www.my105.com.au/classified.asp?id=14489 Hmmmm, so tempted! I'm sure it's caught someone else's eye, anyone been to look at it? http://www.my105.com.au/classified.asp?id=14489 Please tell me it's horribly built and I don't want to grab it up, install a sequential Hollinger with GTR transfer and a high compression 7.0l alloy Chev with low pressure turbos....... oh my.
  12. It does require more effort, but you quickly get used to it. Done properly, it feels much lighter pressure than if you simply experiment and disconnect your booster. You need to alter the pedal ratio from approx 4:1 to 6:1 by moving the master cyliner up approx 27mm, and re-drilling the top of the brake pedal inside the same amount. That gives you more leverage, and ends up about 6:1. The benefit is much better brake feel. I found after putting Brembos on mine that I couldn't modulate the pedal as well as I needed, so having non assisted brakes was a massive improvement.
  13. Happy happy joy joy John, looks great and your plans sound excellent
  14. My buddy has a turbo A4, but alas, it's not a Quattro, so we call is the Twattro
  15. Thank you mate, I always wanted V-Tech!
  16. Urgent FAST request please my good man BNR34005113 Ozzie # is 6U9000BNR34005113
  17. Do I get your R if ya bin it? lol
  18. you never cease to make me LOL you arse clown
  19. It'll be a couple of days notice max Roy? That ok?
  20. I have a complete set (front and rear) here from 32 GTR with front slotted rotors and approx half worn race pads complete with the matching master cylinder and hoses..... PM me if your interested with how much you want to pay mate.
  21. At the risk of annoyance, I'd like your thoughts guys. The ex Brisby Weds are in need of some tlc, and I'm thinking I'll send them to Hi Octane for their fancy coating process to try and alleviate the amount of tar, rubber, and stones that build up on the inside of the wheels. Apparently nothing sticks to the coating incl brake dust? I'm torn whether to keep them white, or go to a darker colour like my 34 wheels (assuming such a colour is available?) or go straight black? Opinions? The car will be properly signwritten again one day, but I can mess with the old design and mix/match colours as it suits. The sticker design;
  22. Tidy work! I haven't yet..... trying to gauge if Berry's wife will be dropping the twins early or on time. If it looks on time and I'm driving his thing for him I don't really want to have my car entered too.
  23. The Aero catches set it off mate, looks tough
  24. That shit is porn Dane
  25. Now hang on a minute. What I'm having a whinge about is following rules Harry, the RULES mate, something that you are always quick to correct people on. Now, the rules state that cutting corners is PROHIBITED. I follow the rules, the rules are discussed at length at the crew briefings. I don't deliberately cut corners, but I know full well that seconds per kilometre can be made up on many stages if you Do deliberately cut corners. I don't. Because again, it's the rules. It is disappointing to know that many crews choose to cut corners regardless, therefore breaking the RULES. Harry, the rules. Now, I'm no fairy and can cop whatever the road conditions throw at me, and if the rules state you can cut the fck out of the corner then I'm happy to mow the fking guide posts down if it will improve my time, but the rules state (and just as importantly respect for the following competitors) that cutting is in essence against the spirit of Tarmac rallying.
