  1. Yes Kel, MPC. The guys are great, and always do a superb effort. I was hoping for a speccy deal this year like I got last year, but what with five of their normal runners pulling out over the last couple of weeks, unfortunately, full whack it is.....
  2. Gee mate, if I had only known earlier we could have had time to organise something! I've just shelled out today for my service crew.... three and a one half thooouuusand dollars. Took me an hour to write the cheque! lol
  3. Well Greg very kindly offered a lend of it! Told you before you meet the best people in rallying I'm still tossin it up I reckon I have a pretty sweet dry setup now and I've spent some time in the wet, and a big thing is I know the car how it is. I've no doubt the DMS would be easier to handle in the wet, and likely quicker..... but, the 64 thousand dollar question.... will it be wet or dry? Or both? I'm also runnin short of time, would need to PAY to get it installed and corner weighted in Melbourne - another 5 to 600 spent.... just gets outa control.! And what if I bend it? I own it then! You're hearin me hey
  4. Phew! Finally built up the courage to try transfering the car into full Qld rego today Yesterday I obtained mod plates for 6 point cage, brake upgrade, two seater, race seats, harnesses, boot fuel system. Held my breat and went down to Qld transport this morning.... sailed through! YEAH!!! SHAKE and BAKE! Hey TT, awesome offer my man!!! I've been thinking about it a little more.... car is on a truck to MPC in Melbourne next week, maybe we could send the setup there, they an corner weight and wheel align? And this "Benno - Thanks mate, it was you who made the difference!!! " is that me or are the kudos for someone else? Hey....... WHO ELSE IS PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanna go faaaaast!!!
  5. Great stuff! As you say, tidy car to start with And I just love LM's.... had them on my old 32 R too
  6. Thatnks for the clarification.... I love a good kerb-hop like the rest of us, but there's a big difference with running a kerb and cutting. If it's a mistake fair enough
  7. Superlap Queensland - LAKESIDE yeah!
  8. Leavin his run a bit late ole Pete ineee. Jenna woulda been spot on for this but she's got a ride in a Dak Dak with Maxxy. I don't reckon navvie weight will be too much of a drama, heck, they could be 100kg and still only be .002% of the car weight! Where's Fatz?
  9. Great pics on the previous page, awesome shot of the Civic So, how much of that corner cutting goes on where the Evo is? Is that a standard line for the higher clearence cars to take or has he made a mistake to end up there? I think this was maybe brought up last year, and I was of the opinion that there should be bollards placed there to avoid cutting. A cut like that isn't really within the spirit of the competition, and once one guy does it, everyone else really has to follow to remain competetive.
  10. I've found it interesting reading through the R35 section that alot of the members are awaiting their new cars are new members to the forum. Seems Nissan have succeeded in attracting new blood to the GTR camp, and kept some of the faithfull Skyline owners.
  11. I didn't even have to double check the spelling Hollowneck........
  12. Christ! Fill me in here folks...... besides smackin someone in the arse last year and being a bit of a prick about it, what else has he done? I've only met him once at a club meet up here several years ago...... and the less said about that the better. So come on, spill it
  13. Geez Snowy, like I said in the other thread mate, congrats on your new GTR! Although I cannot compete with the Shock and Awe of a 34/35 recce/rally duo, we can always have a little fun The stickers finally done by 1am tthis morning, we modded the Signal stripe a bit from the original at the leading edge, it looked a little too much like a willy for my liking. Just needs the Shannnons for the windscreen and the door panels now Once I have it running again I'll grab some better pics of it outside. These pics are of it not quite finished as I was dead on my feet in the later stages.
  14. Are you recce'ing prior?
  15. Congrats Snowy! I'm kinda sharing your joy mate
  16. The devil is always in the details aint it lolol
  17. You'll usually find it's due to too high resistence in wiring from age. The culprit is typically the front right earth strap to the engine from the body. Hence it's worse when it rains, same as coils and plug leads. BUT, it's worth checking the health of your alternator and battery first, as if these are suspect it will also drop out.
  18. For what it's worth, Just Jap deliver very quickly, the price is right, and there's nothing wrong with there intercoolers. Oh EDIT: Meant to mention, freight is very reasonable
  19. I have an R34 GTT cooler and piping mate that I had modded to fit into my 32 mate if you want it? PM if interested. Also a spare R34 GTT cooler not modded. Both in great shape. Car made 210 RWKW with it so not shabby.
  20. You can't do that with a POV1..... you'd need two units sorry
  21. Oh Roy.......... lolol Maybe it should be called an undertray guys?
  22. Well fair enough I stand corrected. I've been searching for a good plug-in for my Lightburn Zeta..... but I need to know if this Ho-Tec V69 you speak of has the ability to run an additional stepper motor to turn my carburettor mixture knob when it's hits the V-neck that I'm installing? You seem to be the man in the know......
  23. Imagine how much faster Mark n Russ' 34 GTR would be if it ran a Motec instead of that shitter Autronic that their tuners insist on!
  24. Nice work Paz
  25. Great stuff Greggy! Did well mate..... your suspension looks ALOT more supple than mine..... I want it if it rains! lol
