Very true...... I only posted it for some info.... and knowledge is power. At the end of the day, Nissan has done well bringing the initial purchase price of a true Supercar into reach of many more people, but it doesn't mean that parts and/or service will be any cheaper than any other supercar. The difference is Nissan is only having a go at you once, at service time, Lambo/Ferrari/Aston et all have a go at you every step of the way....

The boys changed the transfer case on saturday in the hope of getting some front drive. Didn't help much, the best they could get was 10% or so directed to the front. That's why you see pics of it black-tracking everywhere.

Intersting to see. We ran 375mm V8 Supercar floating rotors on the 34 last year under 34 GTR wheels, no issues. Custom caliper though.... but I didn't really see where the dimensions of the caliper really differed from, say, an Alcon.

Can't that be easily remedied with a brace from the tower? I don't have a pedal box but removed my booster, changed the pedal ratio and of course still had massive firewall flex due to around 120kg + pedal pressure required. 10 minutes welding something up had it sorted.

I'm sure it will be fine, I would imagine dealer principals will be keeping close tabs on all GTR activity...... Although, wouldn't it be wonderful to have your GTR delivered, without your knowledge that your warranty was void prior to you taking delivery due to the mechanics utilising "launch control" I jest I jest......

My old man purchased the first in Queensland KF Laser TX3 turbo 4wd back in 1991..... went to collect it from the dealer, where it was sitting proudly on thier rotating display centre of showroom....... with a huge dent and gouge into the front left gaurd, and over 400klm on the clock! Needless to say, they were told to jam it and he'd wait for another. Months later at first service time I was talking to the service manager and he was saying how all the boys and had a strap in the first one they delivered! lol - no doubt the old boy's original car.

34's about the same...... and an Evo's about that too, and the GTR's are typically making 25% more power than an Evo, hence the range issue.
