  1. Awesome...... now I just need to find a suitable car! lol
  2. Guys, I'm currently researching for an article I'm writing about high performance fuels, and am wondering if anyone can help me. The article is focussing on both 98 "pump" fuel and 102 "CAMS legal" fuels available in Australia. Ultimately, having independent dyno graphs of power/torque of one vehicle on the same dyno would be great. Ideally I’d like to run 98RON vs 102RON without any changes, then the same with ECU tuning. I'm aware MOTEC and Shell (V-Power) did a test which is great, but I'm wishing to focus on 102 race fuels. Thanks in advance, and if your info gets into the mag I'll be sure to include a "thanks to". Cheers, Ben
  3. Why not go directly to the importer... Fulcrum at Moorooka. Graham Scudamore-Smith is the owner, he helped us out with Teins for our Targa 34.

    Stolen Monaro

    Keeping my eyes peeled...............
  5. Has anyone bothered to highlight to them how the Z06's did at Targa Tasmania this year? Not that the R35 was anywhere (went off)..... but even the old 34's smashed the Corvettes.
  6. Harden up! lol, get rid of the booster. If you're left foot braking between corners and on/off the power you'll want a consistant pedal, and you can't get that with a booster. As for the rest of it, you have me salivating, wishing I had the room to do my own project... Thanks guys
  7. Been thinking of an '89 Gts-t for tarmac rallies and occasional circuit fun (the circuit would be purely for occasional fun, I'd prefer to spend my money on tarmac rallies). I've even thought of speaking to Murray Coote about a 2nd set of suspension for gravel rally use in some local stuff up this way. I was toying with the thought of importing an RS500 niow they're elligible for late classic, but I don't know enough about them, where as I know the Skylines backwards and inside out. I guess late classic is where I reckon some fun could be had, as late modern is only going to get quicker with more guys being able to afford to put everything on the line.
  8. And there I was considering a 32 GTS-t Stu. Way to pop my bubble dude!
  9. Thanks! When I first saw this post I thought it was a re-post, but curiosity got me and I'm please to find it's alot clearer than the original version which i thought was vey dark.
  10. Alot of cars suggested here are contrary to ecenomic motoring. Too old, too rare, too hard to insure.
  11. Suzuki Ignis Sport Say, an 04 to 06 model. We used one for recce at targa Tasmania this year and it was WICKED. So good in fact I'd happily race one at Targa (and we were in a 34 GTR this year)
  12. Yes, HD. And I agree on the same shots being re-used. I would have thought that with the constant whinges from competitors who don't see their cars that NO footage would have been used twice for "filler".
  13. Oh yes! LOL, it ran in alllll it's glory. "...... I didn't see the finish line" hahaha wonder why he wouildn't have slowed when his nav said "Flying finish"??? hahahahaha
  14. That wasn't me with an Evo 5 or 6 all over it's bum! I had three people ring and ask me what was holding me up! LOL Stu, when's the DVD gonna be available (I'm assuming the tv telecast was a cut version?), it was a good production! FYI, 7HD went crazy and dropped out for a minute or so when Mozz's fat guts were on show @ Prologue
  15. Excellent seat, imo, the best available.... still comfortable after 6 days in it @ Targa As for your Type R, I love them, the DC2 in particular. Good work
  16. So, did everyone watch it? Probably one of the better coverages yet imo. But; Ummm, whats the go with still talking about the R35 on the Day 4 coverage as if it were still running?
  17. Stewart, your rotor is looking Unbelievably good mate! I'm seriously rating it
  18. Ahhhh yes... that's the one
  19. Possum Bourne Motorsport does the most exquisit carbon door cards I've seen to suit their cages..... can't find a pic right now. A matye bought an '07 spec C from Sti recently and the door trims are V droolworthy
  20. Regardless of any ruling, I would still prefer to have some form of door card. Accidents can be very violent things and arms flailing around could become quite a mess coming into contact with sharp metal edges. It's something I've always been rather paranoid about. That and knees smashing into intrusion bars. My 2 cents..
  21. Let us all keep our fingers crossed for Stewie's mega-dollar Datsun 1600
  22. Sorry I just spotted this thread. It may be worth calling the guys at Melbourne Performance Centre, speak to either Troy or Lee. They should have a few lying around after targa in that size

I'm with you Troy. People can call me a bogan all they want, but that's SO much tougher than the whimpy Fezza sound!
  24. Yeh agreed, not something I'd normally go searching for but interesting for a look anyways......
