  1. Targa Tasmania next month should settle it...... 3 Z06's entered fighting one 35 GTR, go down the "Modern" entries here, and all with be virtually standard cars; http://www.targa.com.au/Competitors/Entries.html
  2. I would have thought this would have sparked more discussion on the pro's versus cons of moving the paddles WITH the wheel or leaving them as std and fixed to the column. My vote goes to keep them fixed to the column as per std (they're always where you expect them to be in that case), although the carbon is rather porn.
  3. TT Car # Team Shake n Bake Vehicle type 895 Manion/Manion 33GTR V-spec N1 1995 Walker / Texas Ranger 979 Wooster/Kulhanek 34GTR V-spec II N1 2001 Jean Girard / Hershell 904 Millar/Dean Evo IX GSR 2006 Ricky Bobby / Cal Norton Jnr 962 Kennard/Grimwood Sti Spec C 2007 Larry Dennit, Jr. / Lucius Washington Why? because we like to shake, then bake!
  4. 400? No, of course I'm not serious, just a sarcastic quip mate. That's fair enough, but I don't think a stock anything would get pinged. The only one pinged the other day was a racing 993 air-cooled Porsche with open pipes. Johnnyo's 300+ rwkw Gtr wasn't bothered at all...... neither were HEAPS of other cars.
  5. Assuming you didn't get my PM about the Dunlops mate? Me personally, I'd run the Kuhmo's because we did for 2 years (05 and 06) and they were good in the dry, and excellent in the rain. The only reason I've chosen Dunlops (03's) this year is they were 1 second a kay quicker (in dry) per klm when we ran them back to back against the Kuhmo's. I've had zero experience with the Yoki's, but suspect the Kuhmo's do work well on the lighter cars.....
  6. A mate has IOU-69, another has OUA-69
  7. Kinda dissappointed no one's spotted mine, it gets plenty of giggles and people takin pics while following....... another pic if the first pics not too clear. Bit of Aussie sarcasm considering the big girl uses 23l/100 kays
  8. That's correct, most people are flat past the tower. The quick cars (aka Skylines/Supras/Porsches) are usually 180+ there, with a slight lift/brake tap for the kink approx 200 metres further on....... Giant's 32 would be better than 400 klm/h there I'd say.
  9. As of 2 minutes ago we're all sorted, now have 6 in total! Last 265's on Oz Thanks very much though Giant!
  10. This isn't some wierd Taswegian thing you have in mind is it..... coz I aint down with that.
  11. TT, yes, the size I need is a real issue, but I've heard 235/17's all gone too? I'll be running one set only, no budget for anything else! lol. I don't even know when I'll get a chance to scrub them in, or the new pads for that matter. Could be a slip-slidin Prologue! lol In the Q? Sounds like you have your scroot time already, I better ask Kylie on that. The bar is a given, we always seem to meet there, must be some wierd kind of SAU gravitational pull thingy..... And good work Kel
  12. Yeah he was my first port of call........ Thanks though
  13. Great! Found the 4wd issue, broken wire under the dash apparently. Now we have this tyre issue
  14. Hi guys, chasing at least two (2) tyres either in NEW or NEAR NEW condition. Your location doesn't really matter, I can get them. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance. Again, Dunlop D03. 265/35/18. PM me or email to [email protected] Cheers, Ben

  21. So I trundled across the road from work to have a coffee with me ole mate Dave this afternoon, and what did I stumble across?! A part media-blasted 34GTR.
