  1. And eggspensive (well if it's anything like a 34 one it is. And yes! Join our team!
  2. You DON'T actually have to have a genuine N1, just enter it as such. But, you need to have all genuine N1 bits on there, such as factory oil cooler, N1 spec turbos etc. I reckon it'd be worth the exercise just to have that little bit of extra reliability up your sleeve. Keep in mind that technically you cannot run a GTR with so much as an oil cooler if it wasn't on their from factory. Hence nearly everyone runs as N1 spec. Btw, great to have another Skyline there
  3. Mike, bugger Queenstown, get yourself onto the Very fast sweepers around the middle of Mt Arrowsmith where it opens onto the plains and over bridges. If it's not doing 280+ there I'll, well, I don't know what I'll do but I'll be really suprised
  4. lol, a confused look on a gaggle of flanno always brings a smile to my face
  5. Owned one briefly (edit oops: a 964 Carrera 4) Roy.... just a Great car mate Do it!
  6. You wanting fancy pants gearshift lever or handbrake lever? I'm confused. And a little drunk.
  7. In the first vid, what the hell is it with a front wheel locking at 5:14.... coming out of a corner. wtf
  8. Just keep in mind running times at a strip compared to using a system like a Correvit style system that most car companies and magazines use will always net a different (read: faster) time. See, at a strip, timing doesn't start until the timing beam is broken. With a hard launching car like a GTR or Porsche turbo etc you'd probably already be doing 10 - 15 klm/h by the time you break the beam, hence the "quicker" dragway times. Correvit and GPS based systems start timing as soon as the vehicle moves. Regardless though, that's a fantastic time for a stocky
  9. Bit of a contra deal re Deano being part of the VIP Petfoods 24hr @ Nurburgring in Quinny's Porker.
  10. So, Quinny's "borrowing" the 34 for Rally Tas (starts today). Hope he keeps it nice and straight, don't really feel like a rushed repair job close to targa.
  11. Great stuff Bodes well for the future of TT I say!
  12. If my memory serves me correctly I got my Inconel studs via Apexi. That was all the way back in 1999 though so I hope my memory isn't failing me. They may well be much more readily available now? For interest, I never had any issues with manifolds/turbos loosening on that vehicle using Apexi bits after lots of circuit use
  13. Gary, this isn't the same Integra that did the Sepang 24hr last year is it?
  14. By golly this car is going to be awesome guys I'm all over this thread like a rash
  15. True, we're right on the limit at 1600 odd kg, what tyres it turns up on will be interesting. If it's dry for most of it, it's touch and go re tyres lasting for us, and i assume the 35 will be the same, but at the end of the day everyone's in the same boat. Make 'em last or cop the penalty.
  16. Now there's a mental picture I didn't need
  17. Yep.... good chat........ .................................
  18. Haha, good chat Thanks guys! lol
  19. Indeed. $1600 each for a team entry is pretty outrageous. I enjoyed the last one, and the "social" side is good, but add flights/fuel/accomodation etc, and it's a 3k weekend for me. son of rajab knows how many blondes that can get me in a hot tub up at Noosa for a weekend.....
  20. Thats a pretty protracted "series" hey.
  21. I got mine from Jack Beedham's Exhaust in Brisbane Ph 3283 1000. Call them if you like, prob best to speak with Bob, he'll remember the tips they put on my Jeep so will know what you're talking about. Cheers, Ben
  22. Hi guys, I was out there as well, just to run my Jeep to get a baseline before modding. Does anyone by any chance still have a time sheet with the relative altitude for future reference? Would be great if you could post it for me
  23. Geez champ that's some good karma there hey........
  24. Otherwise these are pretty readily available (this type is alot more expensive ($300/pr or so?) as they are fully stainless and dual-walled. I think they're available in both offset and straight styles, and are basically modelled off a VE SS tip, but much better quality.
