  1. Thanks guys. I've found a complete set of GTR Bembos, front and rear. Just gonna price up new Brembo 2-piece rotors/lines/pads. Will let you know what i decide. G4's are good value, just spoke to the boys down there but Steve wasn't there for me to lean on........ (see my sig)
  2. G'day Greggy! I'm not sure whether Evo Brembos will bolt on? Maybe Brisby the 32 guru could chime in here? I found the car has a near new set of APEXi coil overs in it, which to my suprise actually feel like they'll be pretty good. Last weekend's test day at Winton showed it to have pretty good traction and was really fairly tidy all round. It even rode the curbs fairly well but I'm still interested to see how much travel it's actually using. I'm really looking forward to getting it out onto a tarmac stage, I think a little 32 could really shake up a few if I can refrain from having too much fun and driving it sideways everywhere Rex Broadbent is awefully quick though
  3. Johnny and I will be there to say hi and have a gander Looking forward to it! Is this rain predicted to hang around?
  4. "Yes. Safety concrns for the frog come first." - - I voted for the frog. About 70% are voting to proceed though. Guys, vote 1, FROG.
  5. Fkn street cicuits are the death of grass roots motorsport in Australia. That venue however would be good for the ARC to hold a publically accessable special stage. ARC needs to bring the sport to the people or risk fading away. Cochmuncher should be mandated to support existing tracks for the future of the sport in general.
  6. Is me mate, thanks, pretty happy with that

  8. ^^^^ That's awesome!
  9. Ditto on that tip there Snowy, one of your best I'm going to try not to produce a bunch of drivvle here on, but one of the best pieces of advice I once receieved from Gentleman Jim was to try gearing up, ie, stay a gear higher than your brain is telling you, using the torque and not revving the tits of it. I used both methods at Winton on Sunday, and when using only 3rd and 4th gear for the entire circuit it was consistently approx one sec a lap quicker than raping it in second gear for the tight stuff. It's a method that transfers well over to tarmac rallying as well, and the car will thank you for it
  10. Thanks for the pics Jarrod Yes your time was still quite respectable regardless, shows you've got a real handle on the car and know how to drive it. I suggested to the dude in the R34 NuR (with Motec etc...) that he should maybe follow me around to get the line, but he couldn't keep up. lol
  11. The NSX wasn't a flop, it just never appealed to people who favoured horsepower over everything else.
  12. You know I was just saying to the boys yesterday that alot of the GTR's seemed to be suffering a bit from loose rear diffs. Most of you could clearly be heard spinning the inside coming out of that last right hander before the start/finish line.
  13. Far out that's some serious mph.... and really good consistency! Congrats once again I haven't seen nor heard of Theo in ages...... has he run away with his tail between his legs or is his in a different class or something?
  14. Sent ya an email Troy..................
  15. Thanks Snowy. You know I really do hope you make the call to come tarmac rallying. Maybe consider Rally Burnie as well, great value and is just over the pond
  16. Was a great day, well worth travelling down from Brisvegas for indeed Great to catch up with you Snowy and Bris, reading the above I'm kinda glad you didn't get hold of me Saturday night Sure was some impressive machinery there, that M3 is nuts, Coad's Monara just as impressive! I'm stoked with my little gts-t (so is Aaron who flogged it murcilessly all day for free ), she just kept going and going, ended up doing 270klms on the circuit
  17. Agreed^^ re cage and engine. Just walk away, Renee.
  18. Anyone in WA might be interested in going along to this.......... (Email from Targa West admin) Good morning everyone, As safety in motorsport is continually being reviewed, CAMS is currently looking at the requirements for head and neck restraints for all gravel and tarmac rally events. It is almost certain that head and neck restrains will become compulsory in CAMS accredited rally’s at some levels in the near future. To find out more on the safety requirements and products available, Searle Race Equipment will be hosting an information night at the WA Car Club Rooms. The evening will focus on head and neck restraints (Hans devices), including a short talk and in-car fitting demonstration. Participants will also have the opportunity to try the head and neck restraints. Searle Race Equipment will also have the latest in-car cameras, harnesses and special rally packages available on the night. The evening is open to both tarmac and gravel rally participants. Thursday 10th July 7.30pm – 9.00pm WA Car Club 265 Hale Road, (west of Tonkin Hwy) Wattle Grove RSVP: Tuesday 8th July Sally Ball – [email protected] or 0429 089 171 Cheers Sally Sally Ball Event Administrator, Quit Targa West 5 - 7 September 2008 Tel: 9367 3202 Mob: 0429 089 171 Email: [email protected]
  19. Excellent I'm getting itchy feet
  20. May I ask what you're basing that on?
  21. We put these (OMP somethings) in the blue 34 because they seemed relatively good value, but just let me warn the quality of the material is appalling and is very easily damaged.
  22. If SAU is affiliated with SCAMS or AASA it's all good. Call Jim on the number above, I think they're trying to solidify numbers. I have two drivers in my car.
  23. Troy, did get your email mate, thanks VERY much! I'll go through it today! (it was hiding in junk email) Look forward to seeing you guys again!
