  1. Shall see you there then! Haven't seen you since Dutton Vic last year is that correct?
  2. Hi. As the topic asks, is anyone going? I'll be there bedding in the new brakes etc on my slugger. Pic attached, come say hi!
  3. I'm still going through and digesting it... but looks very promising! 98 octane FTW!!! That's a saving of about 2.5k right there! Now, about that entry fee (everyone booked Strahan I hope yesterday? I did )
  4. Making us Queenslanders jealous! Although, Lakeside this weekend will make up for some of it
  5. Marlin

    Z06 Vs R35

    Off from school "sick"?
  6. Can someone give me some more info on where this is? I'm thinking we might have done this as a stage of East Coast Targa 2004. If so, nice flowing piece of road
  7. Go silver on the inside of the engine bay imo guys! It makes it so much easier to see fluid leaks etc and is also brighter in there and just heaps easier to see everything And on the inside go with whatever the main colour is going to be outside. Always looks professional and "built". Just my 2c
  8. Yes that's exactly what i was thinking, what both you and Andrew have mentioned, ie, the fact you can gearshift whenever without upsetting the car I likey! Andrew, want an R8? Deano's selling his now, done 2500klm. It's full stick though.....
  9. Russ, I'm interested to know how much time you reckon there is in the gearbox of the 35 around somewhere like Mt Cotton?
  10. Well done to both of you! Fantastic effort to break to record and that's quick for a big proddy car Russ!
  11. Can vouch for these being great trucks! We used a tilt tray one for a couple of years dragging a 33 race car up and down the east coast. Quite ecenomical and pretty comfy all things considered Good luck with it Baron!
  12. I'm going to remove the booster on my 32 guys. I'm not going to put a pedal box in it, just some modifications to the factory arrangement will/should allow for a different pedal ratio. I'll get pics up when I do it and advise how it feels.
  13. She's on her way up to me right now Roy. Will be here Monday PM Then I'll hop to fitting these bits and pieces I've been collating for it if work time allows! Entered a sprint day around Lakeside next Sunday (10th), that should be good to bed in the new brakes etc.... As for the "debut" rally, I'm aiming for Rally of Burnie in NW Tassie(or The Tarmac Challenge or something they call it now). It's a round of the ARC this year so should be fun! Hallyer Gorge etc... great pieces of road If I don't get there, I MAY consider doing Mt Buller, but I need more power to be competetive there so may leave it until Rally Tas in Feb 09. I suppose I'd prefer to have the car really sorted before having a crack! As for Targa Tas next year, too early to know what I'm doing yet, may even end up navving for someone, just dunno.... As you know mate, budget, budget, budget...... And yeh, you've got dibs. Is that just coz you want your wheels back?
  14. I agree it WAS too cheap, but it's very much a buyer's market at the moment! And yeh, I have no doubt she'll be strait back into the tarmac rallying scene very soon! Someone else will get to enjoy it for a while now!
  15. A dude stepping up from "classics"mate. By the way Snowie, I'm urgently chasing a 34 GTR gearbox bell housing, don't know of one do you?
  16. No Jas, she's staying here thankfully
  17. The 34.... she's GONE!!!!
  18. Jet the rotor boys and slot a nice six to seven litre GM engine in there
  19. Boys, congratulations, that is absolutely outstanding! One can only imagine how exciting it must be to drive a 32 with so much stonk around corners! I've got a buzz just thinking about it! Thanks!
  20. Ok guys, the owner is willing to talk the sphincter of the universe on price! That doesn't mean talk like a the sphincter of the universe, or be a the sphincter of the universe and offer $1-, but talk the sphincter of the universe! This is a GENUINE N1, not a mock up. Only 45 of these built and most have now gone to the big GTR heaven inda sky. Trust me, anyone serious about entering tarmac rallying or even circuit racing would be MAD not to look at this car! Six days I drove it for TT this year and she didn't raise even a sweat. That either means the car is really good or I'm really soft.
  21. Keep me in mind if you want a co-driving-slaaaart hey Stuart
