  1. I think it's worth a solid 12 to 14k Lewinsky.......
  2. Hmmm yeah ok, well noted A lot more than mine!
  3. Oh ok, I don't rev it that hard. And 1.2 pulls me up. Did you run Tugga with E85? How muchy power it make?
  4. How hard do you rev the thing? As I said to you at Tugga, I've never had such issues with mine, albeit with my own catch can setup.
  5. I'm not quite sure who/what you're taking aim at? Care to elaborate? I think you're referring to Series 6 through 8 RX7's? Let the record state, I for one couldn' give a rats arse about them. Come one, come all I reckon
  6. Your last paragraph makes a lot of sense Harry, of course it wouldn't be as welcome.
  7. Oh! So nooooow you want to sell it! lol
  8. ok, ok.... good point
  9. ya reckon? I think the likes of Mercedes would have more to benefit.
  10. Really? Restirctors into an RB20? Have you converted to solid lifters Benny? Teach me master!?!?!?!
  11. Yeah, it's seems even the most hard-core traditional fans still enjoy the overtaking that these 'new" systems bring.... it's a tough call, but I reckon they've got it pretty right. I maintain that free use of DRS would be pretty epic
  12. Well, I know they're talking about 1400cc, but I maintain it's make much better fiscal sense to simply develope an SR20 crate engine. They're only wanting 600hp, so that's easy, and quite reliably available. For about $8.50. Instead, they're considering going down a multi-mega-million dollar developement road just to appease the greenies that the smaller teams are already saying they cannot afford.
  13. haha, nope! I haven't even put the engine back together completely yet!
  14. Do you not think the current aero package allows them to follow much closer and retain grip than in previous years? I do..... I think that's improved the racing as much as anything. I'd like to see them retain both KERS and DRS, if only because it adds another dimension to the racing. I was also heartened to hear that there's plenty of individuals and teams against the intro of SR20, oops sorry, 4 clyinder turbos.
  15. Yeah ditto completely Harry. I know they reckon it's hard to judge the length of the front end, but that wasn't even close to being an over/under manouver...... rooky shit, and it just seems his judgement might be clouded by massive pressure?
  16. Or basketball? So many bloody points scored it's virtually pointless Good analogy, and I agree, at least on this track, it made it all a bit too "fake".
  17. It just massively amplifies the slipstream IMO, on this track, a little too much. I reckon it would be exciting if they made the use of it free. It would see guys trying to use it as early and as much as possible, like through fast corners leading onto straights...... he who judged the available downforce/grip best would be able to benefit. It could see some MASSIVE high speed spins if nothing else! lol (No, I haven't completely thought it through, but I feel having an elected DRS zone is allowing too much race director dictation upon the result).
  18. I recorded it and watched it this morning with a fresh head. Have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I do feel the DRS, at least on this circuit, made the passes somewhat "artificial". There is no argueing it has also made it somewhat more interesting to watch. It just made passing down the back straight a little too easy. Couple of highlights for me. 1. Dicing between Lewis and Jensen.... as usual, clean and tidy, respect for eachother, just exciting to watch. 2. The second dual between Alonso and Webber, very clean, completely fair racing, and again, great to watch 3. I was thinking just prior to DC & MB saying it, Schumacher just seems under massive pressure, like he'd no ANYTHING to stop someone passing him, even silly stuff like he did all through this race. Funny we were just talking about Senna in previous pages.... But really, to turn into that back wheel, well, if it was a first year guy you'd be wanting him banned as a dnager until he learnt some racecraft. 4. Instanbul usually seems to turn up an interesting race. I rate it as a "proper" race circuit. How then, can the guy who designed it, also turn out such crap as Bahrain?!?!
  19. Bitta rain always spices it up a bit! Is it forecast for proper rain or scattered showers does anyone know? Makes qualy velly interwebbsting.
  20. I'll be stoked with a sub 2:00...... To be honest though, I may not make it to compete, I need to turn the car around (de-mod etc) and have it back in Adelaide 3 weeks afterward for a tarmac rally..... could be stretching it on my budget and timeframe. Brisbane is miles from Adelaide! lol
  21. I agree with Chef.... why try and ride on the Z-Tune's back? For that kind of investment you could build something wonderfully epic, even if you were to contract all the work out. And that vehicle would never retain value like a Z-Tune... because it's just not.
  22. Yes, but with just the mildest of guard mods, a simply rolling was all it took. You saw it and know I speaketh the truth. lol I've had a change of heart with my car. As I want to do some more tarmac rallies in it now that I can run it in Classic Adelaide, and with that I'm precluded from altering the bodywork. So I'm going to simply leave the rear as it is, and bolt GTR front gaurds/indicators on the front, use a 20mm spacer to widen the front track, and run 34R wheels with the 265 Advan. Then it's a simple matter to change it back to Tarmac rally spec just by swapping over to original gaurds and removing the spacer.
  23. Wolverine...... you're safe as a house mate. You'll never even get on a kero canary, the flight will be cancelled or delayed.....for 36hrs.
  24. You election not to go for the 295 Advan Russ? All that work is a mild waste for a tiny little 265.....
