  1. Paint colour is actually Black Pearl. It shows a discreet purple pearl under lights. Wheels have zero rash.
  2. Fark all difference in a rear screen. Waste.
  3. Are you offering it up Benson?
  4. Hey Burgz ya fag.... I see you lurking. How about updating us on how your 32 GTR preppin is comin Paz?!?!?
  5. GC8 with a glas box?..... Maybe we'll have better luck with a GTR I just want a car to get through no dramas, can't have bloody 999 car not finishing the event!
  6. Haha, well, Eddy broke the TR8 doing test launches last night, so, he's off to get a 33GTR today.
  7. I have one in Brisbane mate, check my topics. Only advertised here.
  8. So, here's our 999 jigger! lol Triumph TR8.... Eddy has driven it, reckons is goes good and turn 'em in 3rd and 4th! lol, I'll believe that when I see it But, 400 odd horse, under a ton, and revs over 8k. So I reckon it's a bit of alright, especially with a TT fuel card Should be a bit of fun at spectator points and town stages I hope!
  9. Paul Summers old thing?
  10. Spill it then....... rear engine dak dak huh?
  11. Is it an Ev................................... ................. ............................. oops, sorry, fell to sleep. Evo?
  12. You're just hoping its somethin really shitty so we don't beat your stage times hey........
  13. Eddy's out in Devonport checking out the latest 999 offering..... sounds bloody cool, and seems our recent chats might have somehow influenced it
  14. lol, yep! I love V8's, but only ones capable of big rpm Thankfully the GT has that nice combo of 500hp/8700rpm Windsor, bull nose top loader, nine inch, and 32 GTR brakes (easily the worst bit!)
  15. But, there was a 'cudda virtually identical to that running at Buller a couple of years back that from memory was sold for around 50k...... give a jellyfish a horn it would. Well setup the oldies aren't too hard to drive, Chrisso's XT GT is a blast around Lakeside, and only about 3 seconds a lap of my car without goings absolutely balls to the wall (for obvious reasons).
  16. The local Pizza Hut rep had a Mk4 Golf R32 as a company car, and it ran a couple of years at Tugga with a cage. It can be done obviously, aalong with some ballsy folks caging out their lease vehicles. Just gotta keep that on the down low and hope they never want to se the car! Blaise, your thing is perfect I reckon. If baron would do me a deal on his 6, I'd be in one too, and join the dirty rotten cheat spec AWD brigade If Giant ( I hope he reads this ) can match my 32 up Mt Stuart @ max attack to the second in his Emo5, well, they just have to be good things!
  17. I reckon you'd be doing REALLY well to get the "Showroom" Golf R anywhere near the Sshowroom" Evos that are pumping out in the vicinity of 240AWKW!
  18. Make sure you keep a couple of packs for Giant. He rates them highly for those long Brisbane to Darwin drives he does so often.
  19. You're all fkn soft a too used to poofter AWD cars. yes I've driven one, guy who owns the business next door has one with Euro brand coiler overs and sways, basic mods for 260 RWKW. The thing would shit on my 32..... so i guess it'd be reasonably quick I'm not doubting they're a bit sketchy on stock suspension (as the dude next door said too!), but a couple of simple mods that can be done under showroom, instant GOOD THING! In fact, I'd beat the Showroom 4WD guys too.
  20. The event needs "Classic" more than anyone seems to realise. I forget the actual figures, but the State Gov't will only allow the event to proceed if (say) 50% of the field is "Classic". That's why we found ourselves in "Classic' two years ago..... to make up the numbers. Early turbo 2WD cars would have likely stayed there to expect for the whining. i urge some of you to build Classics...... my buddy Chrisso Dean has a tarmac prepped XT GT Falcon that I'd dearly love to run one day! Greggy, the new little M will be good, and light too hopefully! The $$$$ cutoff was always ok for the 135i, it's always snuck in just under. Beats me why no one has run it yet. The Focus RS would be a good thing no doubt, but I still think a rear driver would be quicker in the right hands.
  21. Greg, I don't understand you post! lol Timmy, I hear you, I think the 944 is outgunned these days, it's only needing more power. it has handling and braking in droves. It's still a weapon in the wettoo, so I think a 968 Turbo upgrade would be a killer in the right hands, ie, Gav's. I don't see the attraction to go Modern...... I'd personally LOVE to be in EM mixing it up with you guys! If I were to run a modern car, I'd run Showroom 2WD, in a BMW 135i, and annoy THAR SHITE out of Mazda
  22. "unbeatable emos"...... LMAO, tell me you're kidding.
  23. Baron's right..... take a Tenga Egg of your choice, it's in keeping with the japanese theme too. make the right choice and there'll be no need to go outside your room after dark........ it's dangerous out there! Tenga egg; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocqxO_dHrj8
  24. i heard budget was most definately the biggest issue. Figures of 30 million needed to fix everything..... that's a LOT of money, even for someone like Snowy!
