  3. Ivan.... get off the friday beers mate!!!! Button and Schu in your list.... LMAO!
  4. Thanks Gents, especially you Dave.... well, I think it's you.... DAVE! For those awaiting interior and engine bay pics, please bear with me, work commitments have me snowed under, and the weather is too appalling to take it outside for pics! Hopefully there'll be a break in it tomorrow and I can snap some up for you! One word though..... Mint!
  5. You've been out of the loop for too long Paz...... there's talk of a couple of snails going on it too.......
  6. How can you be so far outa the loop Paz? It's hardly new news?!?!
  7. Three hours for that???!?!?!?!?!?!??! You've lost your touch.
  8. Got the ok from Russ for Mark and I to use the Evo
  9. In bold for clarity..... Button is very likeable, but his WDC was a fluke.
  10. Pfffft! Speak for yourself Champ!
  11. Excellent! Which cars?
  12. ahhUH! Reading that is looks like no public admission. phew
  13. Yeah exactly.... I remember the first time appo and I walked in there at our first, we just stood and looked for at least half an hour..... we may have had a little tear too. Ok, and maybe held hands for a bit. It's like a car show, but like no other, as there's 300 odd cars beautifully built and prepped for six days of racing, not just looking pretty.
  14. 121 is a bloody serious tyre!
  15. Jeebuz! Really????! What a shame!
  16. R35 run-flats could be the go mate? if they can hold up a 35....... (remember the 35 engineer saying they saw 4,000kg of load on the front right at the "Ring)
  17. Mark, Dan and Nat Ford (Yellow Cabs and rally friends) are importers/dealers for a very similar fancy pants trailer if you do decide to go that way, I could put you in contact with them.
  18. I echo Harry's thoughts..... I also don't like how when you drive the car on, you can't open the doors. That was a stipulation I had when I was purchasing a trailer. The F/R weight distribution of a 35 is also a consideration.... I know when we load Giant's R35 onto their traditional tilting car trailer, it doesn't tilt back to level until the car is ALL the way forward, very very different to the earlier series GTR cars on the same trailer. In my humble opinion, you'd be mush better served saving about 12 grand and having a nice tradtional trailer built to suit, with a long bed of around 16ft (as is mine). I don't like the car protruding further rear than the tralier frame.... not nice if you happen to get smacked up the bum by a truck, farks the race car good n proper, bith ends! My biggest concern would be "the tail leading the dog" with that single axle trailer compounded by the R35's weight distribution. And a tyre blowout wouldn't bear thinking about.
  19. Snowy would still run it. To HELL with the rules..... hey Snowy!
  20. I read many years ago an interview with Ivan Capelli, then Fezza F1 driver. His Ferrari sponsored road car was an F40, and when quized, he said while yes, it was "fast", it was in no way even remotely comparable to F1, and therefore not at all exciting. We all know that, but I guess many less educated than us would think that a road Ferrari is fast in outright terms. And whats with the Mark bashing? The bastard can drive.
  21. I wanna go I think low range runs out at about 100 from memory, so might have to stick in high - but the bloody stability control doesn't turn all the way off unless in Low. Grrrr A 35 would go well no doubt, cheater gearbox.
  22. Haters lolol The R35 comment was in jest.... I'll call Berry and see if he wants to take the Emo5 out there to share How long is the longest strait? The Jeep goes fawking hard in low range!
  23. But I do love a good bum-dragger $100k wasted on my Swift GTi attests to that! lol How would 2300kg of 4WD lard go? Is there an "over 2 tonne" class for 4WD's and R35 GTR's?
  24. haha! Ummmm, thanks mate
