  1. Adam Carr is the cat's name, good bloke by all accounts. And yes, Sunday night is a go!
  2. Nah Timmyis servicing Matt and Casey (although Matt will hog him no doubt). I've got some random dude in with me.
  3. T01-100, Mr Benson, has kindly dragged me up for "00" duty in the Mazda 6 for next week's Wrest Point. Sweet gig! I'll be down midday Wednesday if anyone wants to get sloshed for Australia Day
  4. It is indeed mate...... in the Ron Jeremy days
  5. Indeed he did..... good enough to win Rally Burnie 2006 outright in front of Jimmy remember .... with him missus navving for the first time Matter of fact.... here's the acceptance speach!!! LMFAO ("Big Den" is Whitey's dad) lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq_09-bGxTg
  6. Yeah I'm pretty certain that the lil Evo 4 ran 16x6.5" standard. My mate David Catchpole ran one (in Targa) on stock wheels and the thing was quick. Catchy's quick too I guess. 18x8.5 is massive for an Evo 4! lol
  7. Yeah... you miss it don't ya Timmy
  8. I change at least 3 to 4 windscreens a year though....... Regardless, as I said, excellent value for what appears a great product!
  9. lol. Whats AVI and how does it benefit?
  10. Looking great fellas, very keen to see her in action and get your thoughts on the mighty 32 GTS-t!
  11. No mate, I'm yet to actually remove my stock system and replace it with a dryer. Beer Baron would be the go-to man for all things hair salon I reckon....... or wait, doesn't someone amongst us drive an MX5?
  12. lol, thanks for the reply Eps, I didn't read it all, but I'm sure it was quality
  13. With RAWS requiring virtually stock standard cars to be signed off, how does one get these more modified examples through without major time invested (assuming you can source stock parts). Someone somewhere is fudging something! IMO, a modded car ex Japland may appear value, but certainly not if you need to go to hell and back to have it complied correctly, as a friend who recently bought a 34R in and had to swap out (and find first!) a standard 34R dash because his had gauges inset into it. The cost of such works ads up quite quickly..... and you still haven't seen or driven it to actually know if its a good one!? lol
  14. I go through enough windscreens to know that although a great price, these are too dear for me. 12V hair dryer will sort my screen out
  15. I know when I'm off by a tenth let alone three! lol I'll never been running super soft throw away tyres, I'd rather use the tyres Other people are throwing away! I'm wondering if it could just plug into an iPhone to download the data off it rather than needing to take a laptop?
  16. True words Timmay, true words.....
  17. Was the non-conform issue due to running 9's on the Emo or the guard roll mate?
  18. Thats a curly one, I'm assuming the rule along the lines of "no modifications to the bodywork can be made" is the issue? Personally, I'd roll the gaurds. If someone wants to protest that, let them go I reckon! lol
  19. Russ has gone to a dirty cheater 25 I hear..........
  20. Fellas..... discuss! Thoughts?.... under $200 http://www.hioctaneracing.com/blog/2011/1/14/finally-an-affordable-gps-data-logging-lap-timer.html
  21. Rear track narrower than the front naturally makes the rear end want to "follow" the front.... in basic terms. The 34 was the first GTR to have rear track wider than the front.
  22. Entire cost of the event less DAMAGE but inclusive of diff/box/engine rebuilds in the Spec C was around $60k. Like Dunc says, split between three drivers its basically my year's budget in one foul swoop, and I'd still rather do Targa.
  23. Silly question, have you measured the difference in rear track between the new and old car? Its my hunch from my own observations that V-Specs run less rear track, making them more stable everywhere.
  24. Bloody good for an old bloke Richard!
  25. It's a CAMS event so they won't allow a more simple and foolproof method of simply installing a hole in the bottom of the seat aligned with a hole in the car's floor. Already checked.
