  1. Shaun, start a new thread, let this one DIE!!!! lol
  2. I'd like it back! It's a great car.... but alas, I have no room, need to move a 34 R to make space......... **cough**
  3. Please explain? Didn't you enjoy yourself? Should I buy it back?
  4. LOL - you idiot
  5. YES PLEASE - mods!!!!!!!! I don't want to be looking at one man's name all year.
  6. I think you'll get away with it. But personally I'd wrap it around the taxi bar.
  7. Big Paul, Glad the wife went well mate In years past GTR's have really needed to run Hards to get through, but I have a feeling that your wife's deft touch, under 300AWKW, a day of precipitation, and the ability to add two new tyres end of day four, that Dunlop SR (medium hard) will see her through.
  8. Maybe it rode off?
  9. Hmmm, but but but Mark, 2010 was a bit of an anomally, being, with all due respect, a bit of a Steven Bradbury winner. All the much quicker front guys fell off or broke on the last day. The last complete results I have is 2009. Steve Glenney was 10th Outright in the RX8 SP. I was 17th Outright, a mere 1:29 behind. The guy who won my class (Classic Outright) ended up 7th Outright.
  10. I'd welcome him there, for sentimental reasons more than being an actual fan. I just don't think he's a "Superstar", and I don't think he's the guy to make Williams a front runner. Oh how I'd welcome being proved wrong though!
  11. Great to see nothing changes..... some scumbag has already nicked the GTR badge.
  12. He's a great guy to have there if you need to train up a young gun. He also tows the company line, doesn't mind playing second fiddle, and is still quick and importantly, likeable. Give the old man a break will ya Timmy
  13. Who's gonna fill this seat? A mate of mine reckon Senna's a starter, I say not until hell freezes over. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2010/11/11543.html
  14. I really beg to differ. Yes, it's getting more expensive all the time. Yes, the "quality" of car is getting higher all the time. No, having a great car doesn't make you a fast driver/navigator. That is the beauty of rallying, talent and the effort put in (recce, car prep etc), far outweighs cash spent. Witness the Newtom/Lemish Evo 4 smash all comers, including 996 TT Porsches etc at THC. Witness Rick Shaw in a Series 6 RX7 at Targa. Having recently driven a couple of Evos and seen just how easy and fast they are, keeping in mind they also look after tyres quite well, I'd throw a few dollars to say a few drivers/navs even within this forum could wrestle one into a top 10 Outright. Heck, if a couple of drongoes like Tim and I can hustle a 32 GTS-t into a 17th Outright after an off, and 2.5 days of siezed shock absorber action, well...... it's a no brainer I reckon
  15. NeffyWrap is a carbon material perfect for wrapping. Much nicer than the typical stuff. I know a lot of guys using it both internally and externally, and by all accounts it's very nice to use. I had a sample sent from the US, it feels nice and looks great. Go to Google Images and do a quick search, as for some reason the forum won't let me place the images on here.
  16. Shit.... I already told her it was you! LOL
  17. Ohhhhhhhhhh! It's a "write-off"
  18. Also worth noting that in no way would I want a bolted together cage with the "split" type joints. Fully sleeved is the only way to go. I've seen a few of the popular bolt in cages, the fit is typically appalling, and restricts massively fitting equipement within such as good seats, and even the way you can move within. I've spent a bit of time lately in cars with common off the shelf cages, and I didn't feel any safer that I would if it just still had the airbags connected. lol If you're serious you'd certainly spend a bit more for a real and tangible improvement.
  19. I think you bought it from my mother!!? lol - seriously. Red Spec R? I won't tell her you called her an old lady. haha
  20. Looking for a price on the bonnet please?
  21. I have an E7 if you want one TT
  22. Yeah the bolt in cage in my 32 GTS-t is as per the way Risking describes it. If it were any less, I would have removed it for something more appropriate.
  23. Rotor?????
  24. Maybe not to you...... you are from the 'gong ..........................
