  1. LOL, wasn't meant to come across like a seller's post. I've been around long enough to not need to do that
  2. 7th Nov or Dec Harry? If December I'll also have a change or two to trial
  3. lol, fark you you little khunt. You will keep
  4. A mate did the French one many years ago that DJR mentioned above..... it changed his life he said, "made him complete" were his words. Baron, Roy, ...... when we going?
  5. You have just got to be kidding me right?! Sure the Evo's a good things, quick point to point et all.... but, they're glorified shopping trolleys, and they drive and feel like that. A 34 GTR is a special car, every time you jump in it brings a smile. Looks special, feels special, sounds special, IS special. Truthfully, we're not talking about track performance here are we, so no, there is no comparison. 34 GTR all the way.
  6. Tend to agree, the weight being the main reason and they just take up So much room. I think they're efficiency is ok, as I'm not a believer in the neccessity of CAI for turbo cars.. They do tend to appeal to people who like glitter and stuff though (no slur, just observation).
  7. Yeah I'm with you Fatman........ I'd wittle some from wood before paying that. All that cash for zero gain.
  8. It's just one of those things Cal. I'm with BSCC (Brisbane Sporting Car Club), have been for eons. Cost is $90- per year from memory. They hold monthly meetings, have guest speakers, you get discounts from being a member at various retailers.... it's worth it, even if you're not an active member, which I'm not as they are gravel biased. They run dozens of events during the year, many of which I know you'd be interested in. And as Dunc says, CAMS is a confederation, ie, people make the clubs, the clubs make the confederation.
  9. Hahaha, great minds think alike Roy, as I too was pissed at 10:30 last night, making a prick of myself calling people for chats
  10. I've been told tonight that any of the common hard pipe kits fit with the ARC box IF you retain the factory twin turbo pipe.
  11. I don't think any of us are at the level to worry about such arguments when referring to intercooler pipes..... just shove boost in the thing
  12. I think they're fine, I wouldn't buy a new one though due to the silly cost
  13. If you want a serious Time Attack type car you'll want wider, much wider than the std 34 GTR panels. Think a foot wider
  14. Yeah I've been watching yours with much interest Simon
  15. .............. photographed in the back seat of a Coaster bus too....
  16. I failed... they're fawkin Cusco pipes. Sorry mate. **walks away tail between legs**
  17. I'll ask him to confirm with a pic
  18. My mate Johnny has an ARC box with Trust pipework using Nismo AFM's on his 32 without issue.
  19. The materials with the exception on the front hanging panels are the same. Major points of difference are bolt-in strengthening in GTR (at B pillar and rear tower notably), and the GTR also has scallops in the front "chassis" rails for front driveshafts. Firewall also recessed for booster for clutch master.... but not essential for a race car. Basically, all of it can be got around.
  20. So many questions...... so little info. If your alignment is right, and you're NOT driving past the limit of the tyre (ie, sliding it), you should get a lot more from your rubber.
  21. Thanks Harry! I'll see how things pan out and what level of shitstorm there is here at work after my holiday....
  22. Go on Cal, it'll be worth the effort mate. Harry's helpin all he can!
  23. Yeah I've never once had any pipes blow off on my own vehicles (touch wood) because I'm so totally anal about fitting it properly to avoid it, but have seen many many others do it. I just think if fitment of the HKS version is even slightly lax, there'll be a problem.
