  1. Webb's FR wheel/tyre post race http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/8089/webber.jpg
  2. Sounds extremely challenging, and will reward the guys who have done a good recce, and punish those hard who either haven't recce'd well, or just make a mistake! The issue with mega-long stages is you always have a strong possibility of losing the stage due to one or two big accidents. although I personally enjoy the really long stages, sometimes I think it smarter to keep them shorter, to lessen the chances of having a drive through on a huge section of the rally. I really REALLY hope this event goes well, and I also hope the speakers at the driver's briefing are annimated, and stare the competitors in the eyes with the seriousness of some of these roads! (Judging by the reports I'm getting!)
  3. Concurr Stu, Kubica round the outside, bloody cracking pass!
  4. Yeah, I'm unsubcribing
  5. haha, I can see that But I don't know how many ways it could possible be done Elmo sent the schematic to ARC.... they seem very interested.
  6. Quoted for epic photo bigness..... nice stopper, looks alot like mine
  7. Mick, I run 265/35's on mine mate, no issues really, just a mild gaurd roll, kind of eats the inner gaurds a bit but no biggy. Edit: I just remembered it did actually grab the LH front gaurd once, but it was during a pretty rough road tarmac rally, hasn't done it since......
  8. ^^^ Sure thing, send a stamped self adressed envelope and a $10 money order and I'll send one back to you on a bit of used date loaf.
  9. I tell ya what, send me $125k and I'll build it for you and send it back down. The price includes the purchase on the car you don't have yet. I have everything I need to build you an absolutely reliable rocket; R34 GTR V-spec "High Octane" stroker Assortment of turbos (we'll stick with low-mounts) I'll put a Autronic in it I'll install a fresh PPG dog box we have here. We'll dry sump it. We'll tune for E85. it'll make around 500AWKW and will have usable boost under 2000rpm, and rev to over 9k. Deal?
  10. Yeah that's a very very cool vid and those Porsches sound orgasmic. Big budgets, no tyre rules, cheaper cars, equals much win!
  11. On topic, YT was telling me today how quick some of it is Double wish I was there I love the flat out in top gear stuff through real quick corners. Also told me of the lack of guard rails.... I nearly pissed myself when he told me he changed some notes from "Triple Caution" to "Westpac"..... As in rescue chopper. Haha
  12. And replied, Cheers
  13. Shit. Hope they get it back. Do we have an engine number in case the thieves really are stupid?
  14. By running the exact same setup as we run on Berry's time attack R34 that's how! The complete kit is available from High Octane, retains air con
  15. Exactly Steve, thats why I popped my head in here..... but I gave up, too much cluelessness here for me.
  16. haha, yeah, kinda hard to concentrate on a stage when there's the strong smell of burnin wiring and smoke from the dash vents.
  17. When I ran YT's old R34 I didn't notice the heater bars on the screen either. The wiring for it did catch fire twice though.
  18. Dang I missed it? Too late to a da 32 gtst mate?
  19. OP, do you run a windage tray? At 8000rpm the breeze coming off the crank counterweights is around 300klm/h. What that wind can do to oil returning from up top shouldn't be underestimated. It can even disturb oil that's lying in the bottom and make it airborn. I'm suprised more of you guys with high hp big buck engines aren't running dry sumps? It sure makes life easy, and negates The major downfall of a high revving RB.
  20. AutoGage not AutoMeter mate, just to clarify
  21. back when I was a boy........
