  1. Nah was chattin to YT the other day and he said he's more than happy to wind the spec back to comply with whatever the rules dictate. Funny thing is, Lambo WILL actually sell you an identical one to his, dog box the lot, for you to drive as your daily, if you were that way inclined
  2. GTR wing (and entire kit) was a factory "option" on GTS-t's. Hence we are allowed to run GTR wings, Nismo lips, front bar etc for them in rallying under CAMS and AASA. I believe the 33 to be the same deal. Personally, given those miniscule dimensions of the aftermarket wing allowance, I'd run the 33GTR version. IMO, all you'll get with that aftermarket wing is drag and bugger all downforce. I'm not expert though.
  3. Bullshit.
  4. Yes yes, received this same email monday, with a follow up having a bit more of a dig at the council. Now, is Drive Bathurst on this year? I think there was some bad blood between those two events?
  5. If you were me would you ask for a refund on your fully paid Ebay pre-order?
  6. Well, I count six corners that RBR has a theoretical advantage due to their downforce package.
  7. I would say yes it's superior. I run them in my 32 GTS-t.... and it's a quick car, punches far and away above its weight. I circuit it and tarmac rally it.
  8. If you do spend time looking at the TerraTrip during a stage, you run a huge risk of falling off notes. During stage its really only used as a reference for oil down/car off/dead roo on road, that kind of thing, but having to look at it and count down to warn the driver of something is asking to fall off notes. That's why i think it preferable to roughly mark the distance of whatever the issue is in stage On the notes, and you cannot do that without kilometre markers on the notes.
  9. LOLOLOL ...... WOW, you'll be popular.
  10. We just get around using the odometer in the recce car (transport stages) Most don't use any Terratrip in recce cars, and it's not needed unless you're planning on writing your own notes, and even then it's marginal. I typically like to mark kilometre distances on the side of the notes, mainly so the nav can tell the finish officials where/if they saw a car off, cross referencing with the officials info. It's also good if the nav makes a note on the notes just to confirm they're on the right spot, any obvious landmarks like a big fence, or yellow sign, or dead tree, that kind of thing. The nav doesn't call it to the driver, it's simply confirmation that you are where you think you are..... and if you have a few of those landmarks throughout your pace notes, it really makes it much quicker and easier to get back on the notes if you happen to fall off. Hope that helps Hope you enjoy yourselves too!
  11. it's exactly the same as the polished "ebay" one i bought a coupla years ago (actual quality was fine), except it appears the supplied hose is of even worse quality?! I never actually fitted mine up, as both CAMS and AASA require a 2 litre catch can, not the approx 1 litre of these.
  12. Is it just me, or is Mark sounding "more ind more lyke a Syth Ifricin"?
  13. It's understeering, so, if you feel like you're going to head off the track, just ease out of it a bit. I felt that worth mentioning, sounds like you go off quite a bit!?
  14. Groovy! My engine and box is out at the moment so I couldn't get a picture of it in my mind. That's a great weight saving! I'd spend an entire day trying to save that weight elsewhere
  15. I was under the impression they were 10" tyres..... bloody wrong again!
  16. Well, I got one for my GTS-t, not the GTR..... Box is marked "suit 32 GTS-t" but I've been looking this morning and I'm mildly confused. lol Let me know what you guys find?
  17. Too right. Can't take anything away from these cars though, as much as I hate the formula. My word they're fast considering what they are.... heavy, under tyred, shit aero etc....
  18. "Hollinger H6S" Yesssssssss
  19. Have a chat to the Federal guy again Harry..... see if there's a deal for two sets. Are they available in a 265/35/18 do you know?
  20. That's awesome Lincoln! Where are you based mate?
  21. Might be worthwhile doing a wheel/tyre swap for a session? He's punting his this around very quickly! Callum's is pretty close to yours on "spec" isn't it Harry?
  22. What rubber is Callum running Harry?
  23. Not like you to not speak your mind Noel.... go on mate.... tell him you actually think he's maybe just a little bit shit.
  24. Got it today with thanks mate I'm not sure where it's meant to go.... looks too long to replace just the factory rubber line, too short to get rid of the "block"... I'm certain it will all come to light soon enough though! Thanks again, great smooth GB
  25. I did it without any drama on my old Magna wagon company car (shhhh) several years ago. BUT, as an ongoing solution, it's far from ideal. Turn the VDC off and put the original front swaybar on. Try that first.
