  1. Winton is a good track to learn, hard to hit anything there. PI isn't so bad, most people will be so intimidated by the fast corners they will go much slower than the car could go. It's all about building up slowly, don't get too cocky.
  2. 4admrn is only after the fronts. So the rears are still up for grabs.
  3. Front R33 GTR Brembos - SOLD Calipers have been rebuilt with a brand new genuine brembo reseal kit a couple of months ago. Comes with DBA4000 Discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads. Around 50% left on pads and discs. Also comes with Braided brake lines. (Also have DS3000 pads with about 50% left if you'd prefer these) Rear R33 GTR Brembos - SOLD Calipers are in good condition. Comes with discs and pads. Pads have around 80% left on them. These also have braided lines included.
  4. The way i've done it, is get some of that metal cable with plastic coating around it... cut 2 lengths, make 2 loops, thread one on the bonnet and one around the radiator support or something solid, then get like a hook/clasp that you can clip on/off easy..... Should only cost a few dollars to get the stuff to do it and about 5mins...
  5. Interesting idea, much better than putting more speed cameras out!
  6. yeah last turn and first turn at PI ... tough to pick which one is scarier.. Even though Turn 1 is faster, i think coming onto the straight scares me more, you gotta plant it before you can see the straight..... Also the the bend before dandenong corner at sandown is pretty scary...
  7. I just measured with a tape measure 420mm inner diam on my 18x10.5" RE30's... You can forward your sexual favours and kidneys to this address...............
  8. Ahh you got in on the officeworks scam for $469 today as well
  9. You can live in a car, you can't drive a house hehe, house is a good investment, better in the long run, but doesn't provide as much fun in the short term... all depends what you want...
  10. Check out the R33 GTR S2/S3 steering wheels, nicer than the S1 wheels. They fit and work. Don't think the R34 GTR airbag will work with the R33 GTR, but i could be wrong. S15 i have no idea. Most people just pull the bulb out of the speedo cluster. Pull out your cluster, and check the bulb. If it doesn't have one, plug one in, if it does check to make sure it's not blown, if it's not blown then I dunno sorry
  11. There are a few problems with that... - The first time you jammed on the big alcons the baby would come flying out. - You'd have to warm up the engine first - You'd get 'gunk' all over your interior Congrats by the way Jack. Now Give me your car.
  12. Don't forget how well the R35 GTR did at the timeattack. 1.01 stock... look up other stock cars around tsukuba. The 360 Challenge Stradale did 1.02 around Tsukuba, and is in 14th place on the top gear times. So yeah i agree with Snowy. Faster than the GT3, but slower than the Carerra GT. Around 7th-15th is my guess. I just hope it's not raining when they do it, i hate when they test cars in the wet, hard to judge against other cars then.
  13. There are good twin plates and bad ones. Good ones still drive just as nice/easy as a single... or at least very close to. Then there are really crap ones that have no give in them.. pain in the ass to drive, you can get used to them however.
  14. For sprints we use SR's. The GTR is to heavy for the softer compounds unless it's for really short runs.
  15. Common problem in R33. Check the FAQ's pretty sure it's in there, if not search the forum Basically it's an actuator on top of the heaterbox that is trying to open a flap, you need to replace that actuator. About 150 from Nissan new i think. Whole dash has to come out.
  16. Got any Laptimes it's run for tracks around Australia?
  17. No one wants anything that's not at least dual core these days... Pull it apart sell the bits on OCAU separately.
  18. I'm sure we all want big brakes, the problem is all the custom work you'd have to do to get them to fit a GTR and then discs and pads.... Someone will buy them eventually
  19. Leave RacePace where it is, only 10-15mins away from me Maybe you should move closer to them? Come on where are your priorities! Car first! haha
  20. Snowy get with the times old man, everyone knows DSG is faster than a clutch pedal manual
  21. Nope that's fine. No need to have a long arse power wire if it's not going to be used, cut it to length. Pretty straight forward
  22. GTSS come on the same as my stock turbos, but just produce more power/run more boost. Stock cams are fine. Just get adjustable cam gears and a good tuner! Ohh and a good exaust, gotta flow nice.
  23. The most light will come from 4300-5000k. Going much higher than that and you start to give up usable light for the blue/purple look. So if you want good light then go for 4300 or 5000k, if you want rice then go for 6000-8000k. Also adding HID bulbs to normal headlights never look as good as proper factory Xenons.
