  1. 2 reasons to change/upgrade fuel pump. 1. Its broken. 2. You're using more fuel than it can supply, in which case your tuner would tell you. Fuel pump only supplies fuel to the injectors.

    353awkw?

It will be more like 270-300kw @ wheels. The gearbox is what gives it such a quick ET.
  3. Good to tow caravans and cart the family around.
  4. Yeah if you're coming you may as well come have some fun in the car. Either a trackday or DECA.
  5. You guys have missed the obvious driver for McLaren.... The Stig!!! he's the obvious choice - he's english, he can drive daewoos around test tracks, and he doesn't whine if he gets beaten. In fact he doesn't speak at all - something most race car drivers should take note of! You get paid to drive, not talk, so shut it!
  6. Yeah! Even me, don't believe me? Lend me your car for a track day with the truck turbo then
  7. No, you said he should sell his front shaft. I asked why he needs new Dunlop Semi-comps since they don't work that well on the dyno I'm so going to cop it next time I take my car there
  8. I think it's worth trying some fancy ducting/cooling on the standard brakes. Even if it doesn't work, it will still be beneficial when you do upgrade brakes.
  9. I got offered an invite for this but didn't want to go by myself. Not a huge fan of those BBS wheels. The Interior doesn't look that much different to the IX than me, but having said that I liked the IX interior.
  10. I had mine set to 30psi cold for start of winton, when i came off they were 40psi... was like driving on street tyres. I try to run 32-33hot.
  11. Try the QFM ones. I might give them ago for street next time.
  12. Genuine question here Troy - Have you driven a car at the track that you can't brake 100% every turn? I'm thinking maybe you've never had the issue of not being able to brake as hard and late as possible everytime. I think it's hurting my times a touch because I have to be nice to the brakes, so most of the time i'm only braking at 80%. As for top 14, just make it top 15 - bit more round of a number.
  13. hahahah nice call, haven't watched this ep yet, got it sitting there to go when i have a spare hour.
  14. No, it's running a DSG box.. dual clutch flappy paddle box.
  15. all good cars. What do you want to use it for? Dyno Queen? Drag? Daily driver? ShowCar? Circuit?
  16. I didn't give you permission to post pictures of my garage! How dare you!!
  17. Stop giving the OP a hard time. He's thinking about this stuff and has the balls to post up the question which started the discussion. Which is what forums are for I'm sure that if a friend asked you a question like this you wouldn't take the piss out of him, you'd just explain that it's not how it works
  18. Here you go, the original thread from last year: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t110974.html
  19. You're allowed to talk about nengun, no reason you can't. I don't think those grex brakes on nengun are made by Alcon. The older ones were i believe.
  20. Wow that's a pretty good scam.
  21. Put me down for a 1.37.51 @ Winton.... Need to do better...
  22. Rowdy is away for a week, but I spoke to him yesterday, it's still for sale, and yes pretty sure he is getting it complied.

  24. Yeah thanks for organising the day. It's one of the better run track days i've been to in a while. I also agree 20min sessions was too long. Tyres and brakes overheating in that time. I like the idea of 1 warm up lap, 3-4 flying fast laps and 1 cool down lap. Results here: http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../11/2007.WIN.P1
