  1. Yeah don't think i'll win that one - maybe Jack will take up my track rims/tyres for me on the trailer instead.... so i can drive up on streets....
  2. I bags a ride in Jacks tow truck if he's taking it again
  3. hahah that ferris wheel looks like it's going about 200mph - someone photoshop some people flying off it!! If only there was a full res version of this one:
  4. HEY!!! who's idea was that!!
  5. Yeah that really does sound like you did well - well done... maybe you can give us some tips
  6. That's f**ked - why is insurance only covering part of the damage? And why aren't they covering lost rent?
  7. Think i've seen that car around our area (I'm from rowville as well). A few times in traffic on the way to work, a couple of times around knox (parked near noodlebox/pizza hut etc..) Since it's local, if you want I'm happy to come check it out with you, let you know what i think of it - but i'm no mechanic, just owned one for about 4 years now
  8. Depends how big your balls are... 4wd doesn't help you get around the corner any faster, it just helps you get out of the corner faster... the rest is in grip and suspension. On street tyres you may do 170-180 entry, on R comps, probably 190-200+ - like i said, how big are your nuts?
  9. Remember car salesmen are scum (even if they aren't, don't seem like it, just assume they are it can be hard with thier charm)... Don't opt for extra crap like 'paint protection' its just a super expensive wax, no matter how much pressure, or how bad they make you feel about not buying xxx extra because of yyy, don't fall for it, stick to your guns. As for price, as above, just shop around, don't be afraid to be a bit of a hard arse, don't let them guilt you into anything... if they want to make the sale, make them work for it.
  10. http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/ArticleD...ArticleID=41675 Doesn't look to bad there... they need to differentiate the 'performance' models from the base models, more than just a few stick on body kit bits....
  11. Trash talking at it's best - this is the way it should be! Brisby, don't forget you've gotta drive your car home for the time to count
  12. hahaha I hope i have tyres sorted out for this, if i do, i'm gonna take a second out of you, screw this one tenth bullshit
  13. So you're going back to stock?
  14. I think i was running 1.08's in my stockish GTR, street tyres etc... But i'm sure someone with more driving skills than me would of gone much faster. There are a few gtst/gtt's running quicker times than that, but modded.... For laptimes around different tracks, including calder, check. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=46199 Calder isn't really a great circuit track to compare, somewhere like Sandown would of been better... Still some impressive figures out of stock taxi's there....
  15. And the big boys are coming out to play!!!
  16. It's not hard if you know what your doing, but it sounds like you don't really understand it at all - so if i were you i'd take it somewhere and get it installed, save yourself the time and $ (after you stuff it up, it will probably cost you more to get it fixed/installed). OR get a friend who does know to help you? Basically you need to run RCA cables from your headunit to the amp, you need to give the amp 12v power, ground and a remote trigger from the headunit to turn it on and off, and then you need to run the speaker cables from the amp to the speakers, and then tune it... There is a bit more to it than that, little things, not hard if you know how.
  17. Cheaters. I drove Beefy's EVO9 on the weekend, very nice i like it. Very punchy/responsive, but lacks top end - but that is to be expected being stock... didn't get a chance to throw it around any corners but it felt responsive steering wise as well.

Cool got it set to auto-record everyweek now... Koenigsegg CCX is the car that Stig crashed i think...
  19. Just mod it yourself Adz, its not hard
  20. I'm already in....
  21. Yeah I did one with Benno, Frank, Aaron, Jack a while ago... http://ferni.net/photos/Cars/0602_GTR_Wedding_Cars/
  22. Yep Try The motorbike shops there.. that's where i get mine from. The one with the Jetski shop downstairs... Don't think i was paying that much, think it was $25 or something, maybe 30... Yeah I think the reason is the moisture in the air gets into it which is bad. But think about it - what about the fluid in your master cyl that is sitting there with a lid on it (probably not as air tight as the lid on the RBF600 bottle).... so yeah i don't belive it. I've got a half bottle sitting in my toolbox draw with the lid really tight...
