  1. hahah yeah it was hard to miss following you, locking up into every corner haha... was a bit hairy coming into turn1 and seeing you locking them up and not knowing where you were going next so didn't know where to turn i had to just brake straight as well... as for 1.22.4, must be a timing error or something certainly not driver skill, i had plenty more places to make up time, just not enough sessions to do it.
  2. yeah i think they should of sent you a passbook with the sticker already in it. When you renew they just send you a sticker to put in the book.
  3. I noticed the same thing... at least we have each other to chace, screw these guys doing sub 20's around sandown... Yeah you'll be nervous just before you go out, once you're out there it will all just come to you, and you'll start having fun
  4. hahah i kept thinking the same thing Troy. Watching it i'm going, wow he's moving... then i timed him and thought shit, i'm (hopefully) going to be going faster haha...
  5. That and the fact you don't need aftermarket front pipes.... stock ones are fine. typical stage 1 is up the boost to 1bar, powerFC Tune and cam gears, should get you close to 250rwkw.... probably worth spending a some more $ on the exhaust, dump pipes maybe? Should only be 3k or so there... if you want to spend a bit more, replace the turbos with some GT-SS or similar... up to around 300rwkw then...
  6. Nice find, haven't seen that one, looks impressive.
  7. yeah i've got it done, mate did it. Its pretty simple, just a chip wired to the dvd-rom, even if i unplug it, originals still work etc... don't see it as any risk... but i haven't done any updates yet. But can't see how an update can cause any issues, it's just tricking the drive into thinking a copy is a real game, thats all really.
  8. hahaha i don't expect to be anywhere near snowy or jack, first time out and lack of skill, you know.... Should be fun tho, i'm getting pumped....
  9. Yeah as blitz said, its not a S3 lip, but it does look good, one of the more tasteful aftermarket front lips i've seen. But also as Blitz said nearly all of them are fibreglass, which is a bad idea having one has your front lip... hence why i forked out the extra $ for a original nissan S3 lip. Also it won't fit up to a GTST front bar, obviously you'd need a GTR front bar on your Gtst first....
  10. Oops, delayed response. I've got just the original Imate PDA phone.... Came with WM2003... i upgraded it to WM5 from xda developers.....
  11. hahahahah just clocked a 58 second lap.... its crap tho, i'm doing nearly 300k/h before turn 1 from a standing start on the grid!! hahah my arse. Yeah trying to get my head around the kink at the back about how fast to be taking that, more important to set yourself up for the left hander after it i think....
  12. My driver trainer is V8 Supercars 2 on Xbox, did a 59 second lap around Sandown hahaha, wooooooooooooooooo Been looking through youtube for some incar videos, but most of the cars on there are slow, 1.35-1.40's..... Wheres some Jack Footage around Sandown when you need it. Edit: Found this Porsche Cayman S one on google videos, not to bad... still not super fast http://video.google.com.au/videoplay?docid...7&q=sandown
  13. fark me, i recon there would be less damage/breakages at a destruction derby! what is it that makes targa so hard on the cars?
  14. I've flashed my firmware when it first came out. Surprisingly my xbox360 hasn't died yet... but i don't play it a huge amount, and i've never put the case back on after flashing it in case i wanted to flash a newer firmware on... so maybe that's something to do with it.
  15. I think he's taking the piss Matt, because you're not meant to have loose stuff in the cabin while on the track
  16. crap, didn't even notice the cage!
  17. I thought i bedded them in properly, same way i usually bed in pads, go out do some big stops, get them cooking, then let them cool down without braking.... usually works.... Do you think i should try roughing them up and bedding in again? Maybe i'm just used to the bityness of the DS3000s
  18. actually 7.5million yen is just over $75,000AUD at the moment.... But yeah you'd need shipping/compliance on top of that. Very nice car... wrxhoon has an Mpsec, nice white pearl colour....
  19. Any passenger laps?
  20. Congrats Kaz. And i know now Mins real name hahah
  21. I've run RB74 and am running DS2500 on street now. And honestly i'm not impressed with the DS2500, they have no 'bite' maybe i've got a bad set. Don't get me wrong they stop me fine, but i have to put a bit of pressure on the pedal, even if warm.... where as when i put DS3000 in for track days, they bite nice and hard... doesn't take much pressure on the pedal.... but maybe i got a bad set? The RB74 i found the same as you, hit them the first time and they are average, but after that they are ok... I think i'm going to give endless a go for street pads when the DS2500 are out...
  22. if you need me i can help, but you'd be better off using the others first since this will be my first time at sandown...
  23. Exactly. And your previous answer about gravity 9.8m/s makes sense now... i should of realised.
  24. It's those damn walls that are so close @ sandown Do you seriously find you don't get enough laps in on WRX days? (just interested) as towards the afternoon they usually let you go out in any group you want since half the field has broken something or been pinged for noise or something
  25. I've dealt with Stuart (owner) at JGW before, nice guy and he helped me out when dealing with nissan over gearbox issues, but never actually got anything from him so can't comment on what his stuff is like... he seemed to know his stuff, but i think snowy had troubles with his gearbox there...
