  1. I agree with Ant... traffic = slower laps, and more chance of a car to car bingle...
  2. And don't forget your bribe in cash for the timing officials on the day if you want to get that PB you've been chasing...

    P1 Article

Is there a car in that picture? I'm blinded by the shoes!
  4. That is you can get any traction at all there, last time i was there i couldn't get any traction, it was stupid, spinning all 4 wheels no matter how i took off all the way through 1st and 2nd....
  5. Isn't the oil pump/crank differen between the 2? No idea what the actual differences are just know they are different Some of the late 32's are the same as the 33 tho...
  6. Stock GTR's are slow. Don't know why anyone would want to drive a stock one!
  7. Yeah, snowy is going to extend them... It didn't even occur to me they would be for bikes, i bet if we told them it was for a car we would of got the longer one.. o well i'm sure snowy will figure it out, working for a cable and wire company and all As for the transmitter, yeah just 8 AA batteries inside, or 12v external powersource from somewhere... not sure what they usually use? Would AA batteries last all day? I guess so.
  8. I assume they will have it setup on the drivers side, since that's pit lane side.... I need tyres - anyone want to lend me their rims/tyres so i can enter? Didn't think so...
  9. Wow your results are very very impressive James... that's also gotta be good advertising for P1 !
  10. Something I learnt recently is that R34 GTR have a bit wider guards at the rear. They can take a bit more offset and wider rim. i.e LMGT4 18x10.5 +15 are ment for R34 GTR not R33... but they do fit an R33 fine with 265's on... As wrxhoon said, some tyres are wider than others at the same size.... The biggest problem you'll have if you go wide, is you will need to roll your rear guards, not a huge issue, but that's up to you if you want that done or not... If you do you can fit a bit wider rim/tyre... I guss this also depends on how high your car is, if its high then you won't rub at all even if the tyre sticks out Somewhere around 18x10 +20 and 18x10.5 +15..... but the tricky part is, the 10" +20 wheel would be able to fit a wider tyre on it without hitting the rear guards, but you don't want to go to wide since the tyre becomes baggy and that will affect handling...
  11. Graeme, haven't seen you around in a while - where have you been? Do you still have the GTR?
  12. Well i'd be perfect, i never drive 10/10th.... What's with the "teams' competition? Team racepace FTW!
  13. Troy - I'd do it, but i'm to scared of your car, it just randomly spins for no reason! I think Gareth would be a good choice On the other hand, JAMES pick me pick me!!! i drive to slow to hurt the aston
  14. Bulbs are simple, D2S 4300k Philips or Osram....

    Cirque Du Soleil

yeah we went to see this the other day, pretty good show, but next time i want a go at some of the stuff they get to do! hahah
  16. Bulbs you can order any D2S bulbs you like. But you should try to stick to Philips or Osram 4300k D2S bulbs since these are what OEM's use... as for ballasts, Nissan i guess, and i'm guessing not cheap!
  17. Don't do it snowy, you'll break your car at the drags, it's not worth it!!!! stupid drags....
  18. 17x8 +38 offset would of sat way inside the GTR guards, They would be more suited to a gtst... so go ahead and buy FLY

    P.i. This Weekend

hahah well done Andrew, you beat my PB by 1 tenth of a second
  20. Nismo AFM's are rated at about 700HP @ flywheel.... and as ash said, the actual element in it is the same as the Z32...but they are just a direct bolt on...no stuffing around with plugs/cutting piping.... when you pick which AFM you have on the PFC you pick Z32...
  21. Ash, not sure what you mean by way around it? It really is a matter of 'if' MS detect you playing backups then they ban you from Xbox Live, that's it your ConsoleID is banned, no way to fix that, or get around that. Since no one really knows under what conditions MS ban you right now, it could be if you play backups, or play backups online, or have a modified firmware and playing online or even playing offline modded firmware, next time you try to connect it could ban you. Once your banned from XBLive thats it.... You can still play offline backups however. Kelly, you can't run homebrew on XB360 yet like you can on Xbox. They've figured out a way to get linux to run, but only on a certain version of the dash, which most people have updated to a newer one and you can't downgrade to the old one since they blow and efuse when you upgrade. People are still working on it. XB360 can connect to a Media Centre PC or media player 11 and stream movies/videos from it, but only wmv videos. There are other add on programs you can download that will convert avi's etc to wmv on the fly so you can play them on the xb360, but you lose quality. Also all the decoding is done on your PC and not on the xb360. Still no where near as good as XBMC.
  22. Yeah read this today on XS... haven't turned my 360 on in a few weeks so maybe i'm not affected, but even if i am, big whoop i don't play online much... I just wish they wouldn't make it so hard for hombrew, i want XBMC on the 360 dammit!
  23. You guys are all soft, what do you think sick days are for? I'm interested - so is this just straight up untimed track day, but with some instructors there to give you some pointers/instruction?
