  1. Damn you Chris!! When i was there i couldn't break into the 11's and i was running 119mph... stupid drags, stupid heathcote.
  2. offset isn't stud pattern, the offset is the +15 , +22 etc... GTR's need to have same sized tyres (so usually same sized wheels) or it messes with the ATTESA.... Very nice wheels, would look hot on a white car!
  3. how does pushing your pistons back push the fluid ALL the way back up to your master cyl? that's a fair way.....
  4. Everything he said - he saved me typing it out
  5. What other symptoms does your car have? It's probably something simple.... If it's misfiring under boost then it could be spark plug gapped to big or coil packs need replacing. If one of the afm's are dying then you'd notice it stalling sometimes, and hesitating sometimes.... There is a sticky with recommended workshops you should look at, but I'd recommend Racepace in Bayswater if you want a GTR expert.
  6. I don't know what clutch this is, by my car has 300rwkw and i drive it everyday with a nice single plate clutch. Let my mate drive it the other day who hasn't driven manual in ages, he didn't bunny hope or stall it or anything once, he couldn't believe how easy/nice it was to drive.
  7. If you want to let the Jasjam go cheap, let me know.
  8. Doesn't make sense, changing pads shouldn't have that kind of effect on your pedal... when you first hit the pedal after fitting the pads it will be soft and you'll have to pump them up, since you've pushed the pistons back to fit the pads in... but then the pedal should be reasonably fine - it may be a little softer until you bed in the pads... due to the pad/disc not being flush, hence the need for bedding... If your hitting the floor with your brake pedal you have to have air in the system.. If there is no air, then the fluid must be going somewhere? Any leaks around the brakes/lines? If not maybe something wrong with the master? Maybe try doing a full flush and bleeding them again? Or just take it to a pro
  9. Power seems a little low, stock turbos you can get about 250rwkw on 14psi, N1's i'd expect a bit more with a bit more boost.... my old setup had 258rwkw and about 240awkw to give you some idea.. something isn't right.
  10. Because Benno says so! That's all i need to know.
  11. that street tuner challenge i saw one episode where they stripped the 32gtr back and were stiffening the chasis, like its already not stiff enough. Besides stiffening the chasis doesn't make it automatically go faster, just easier to tune the suspension... seems like the had no idea.
  12. Notebooks are never good for running games.. but yes i'd defiantly recommend upgrading from 1G... 2G minimum with Vista... I find it runs a bit smoother with 4GB... (even though 32bit can't use all the 4GB)... Just get the same speed memory that you have now... go for kingston or corsair, either are fine.
  13. Sounds interesting, but i don't have foxtel.... what kind of cars/mods/times have you seen out of interest?
  14. Chris ran 1.21's around sandown with RE55's on a stock RB26 engine/sump.... 250rwkw.... no issues with spun bearings, so there was no Benno Trickery there. I've run 1.22's around sandown with RE55's and a stock sump (as far as i know anyway) But there is other Racepace trickery with the oil in my engine, but i think the sump is still stock. I don't think the sump is the issue, but gtst could be different to GTR... It wouldn't hurt to put a baffled sump in, but don't assume its needed.... I'm with Troy... Penrite 15w? I don't know if it was the oil, but i defiantly recommend the Castrol Edge Formula R 10w-60 stuff... that's what most of us run....
  15. 9 hundreths of a second at both sandown and PI quicker than me.... ..|.. Just wait till i get my new wheels and some new tyres, then your going down! Don't forget Archie that Aaron will be carrying more corner exit speed than you, which usually means faster down the straight, so if you're keeping up with him in a straight line then you probably just have him pipped in power... Damn you guys with 350rwkw, i think you should give me a second for every 10rwkw more than you have than me - what do you recon Chris? Although he doesn't seem to need it.
  16. I would of ended up in the wall. Teach me.
  17. Holy shit. What tyres were they?? I did plenty of track days on my Hankooks without issue. I actually used to pump them up harder for track days to keep the sidewall stiffer. And i know Rowdy32 on here uses the same Hankook street tyres on the track, and he flys!
  18. This world sucks - one less good guy who was just trying to help. And people wonder why others don't help when they see something f**ked happening.
  19. I wonder what parts that car has left on it that are factory eclipse
  20. So they are suited to a gtst not a GTR....
  21. 15minutes of idling a car? f**k don't you get bored? Just baby it until it's warm and she'll be fine. Warms up quicker to that way.
  22. R32 GTR's came out in 1989, Wasn't 1989 earlier than 1990 ? Why's everyone like the F40? It's fugly 80's style. Looks like Porsche will do well out of us though.
  23. That's normal for the stock ECU, mine used to be like that when it was cold in the morning, as soon as the water temp hits (can't remember) it switches from open to closed (or is it the other way around) mode... and it runs good/normal. When i switched to a PFC i don't have this anymore - but not like i fang it when cold anyway, so it makes no difference. As for driving it for 30mins and then it dropping boost from 14 to 7, there is something wrong there.
  24. Well this is a bit hard, as i haven't driven a lot of the cars i think should be in my garage - perhaps you can help me out there James 1. Ferrari F430 2. Aston Vanquish 3. Ariel Atom (hey they are going to be road legal soon!)
