  1. SAT Sprinkles Late Sprinkles Late. Sunny. Mild. Breezy.
  2. Ok if west doesn't make it down, i'm up for a ride in passenger lap brisby, Chris tells me after being in the passenger seat of your car at deca long-wang, he doesn't push hard enough hahah. Brisby: You must be getting more organised, normally its 11pm you start all that shit. I may have a passenger seat open as well if my mate doesn't come down...
  3. SAY NO TO RAIN! Saturday Clearing shower Min: 12°C Max: 21°C
  4. You can unlock it from the laptop software, no password is needed as far as i know, its just a lock/unlock button. You can't unlock it from the hand controller at all. If your map is showing all 0's then its locked.
  5. i'll probably be at the bunnings meet as well
  6. Thats f**ken aweful. Current design is much better. They are about to make a big mistake. Another boost for Evo sales?
  7. You shouldn't have a speed limiter if you've removed your stock ECU. But someone more familiar with Wolfs will comment i'm sure.
  8. I think you have it all there. It can be a bit overwhelming your first time, but you get used to it all and it all makes sense once you've done it. The DB reading is Philip island specific, other track days don't normally have it, or it isn't enforced.... I think most of us will be taking a non racing line and lifting off near the DB tester, and hoping he goes home after the morning.... As for the crankcase breather thing, i think if you have a catchcan that vents to atmosphere thats what they are talking about... not 100% i have a catchcan already that is piped back in. What mods put you in Mod class? If your doing driver training you're not really in any class i don't think, since you're not ment to be timed
  9. I'm 99% sure you don't need a strap now for secondary bonnet restraint since skylines (as do most cars these days) have the catch latch thing that counts....
  10. Looking forward for the R33 GTR versions. I think i have the same torch! snap-on!
  11. Depends on the rest of your suspension geometry, mainly castor.... They may rub a bit on full lock, but how often are you on full lock? Also your rears may hit the guard when going over a bump, once agian depending on geometry back there, and height..
  12. The track day is Saturday... Your sailing is Sunday, whats the problem?
  13. Not sure what they are on the R34, but on the R33 they are D2S, which is what most Xenon bulbs are. You don't want to go to high of a temperature or you're loosing light. Anything over 5000k is a waste. Stick to 4300-5000k.

  15. 800 for rotors/hats/adapters sounds reasonable, what about replacements discs only when needed. As for 32mm rotor, seems like SK is running 32mm by shaving off .75mm (so 1.5mm total) from new pads, which isn't much.
  16. Interested. But i would need brackets or something to fit the rotors wouldn't I? What are the rotors worth. I run 18" rims so thats not an issue, just getting them to fit/work with standard brembos is.
  17. Which calipers? Whats involved in getting these discs to fit with the brembo calipers? I'm running stock sized 324x30mm (i think?) DBA5000 with my R33 GTR brembos...
  18. That's taken from the WRX motorsport rules. I've started a thread over on wrx forums to clarify a bit more... http://www.wrx.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39391
  19. The track days we go to, the sorted GTRs still spank the other cars.... What mods on your car, what mods on the car that were spanking you?
  20. I put polarg on my mrs GTS and they seem pretty good, changed her headlights and fog lights over. Can't remember which ones exactly. Pretty white/bright for non xenon globes.... Only down side is one of the fog lights died in about 9 months.... still have to replace them.
  21. Pretty sure its just mpeg4... xvid... Download and install ffdshow. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_so...ers/ffdshow.cfm
  22. Nice one dude, good to see you went for 10.5" as well. What power and suspension setup you running that? The car/paint is looking good.
  23. Up to you what you put down, but with a 1.41 at winton I think you could break 2mins at PI. All depends on what your comfortable with. On street tyres i was doing 1.43's at Winton and 1.57's at PI.
  24. Didn't wrxhoon have one FS? Otherwise i'm sure normal windscreen places can get them?
  25. 2530 is too small for 250rwkw, expect around 200-210rwkw, 2535 will give around 230rwkw.... Injectors start to be the limit around this power give or take a touch... I'd be worried giving my car to a mechanic who thinks he can get 300rwkw out of stock RB25 injectors.... Or maybe he has a happy dyno that reads about 50rwkw to high. I also think once you start going over 250rwkw or so you're going to run into reliabilty problems, going off your first post, and your priorities, i'd stick with the 2530 or 2535, stock injectors and a safe tune, which will give you a very nice 210-230rwkw (or more if his dyno reads high?)... very usable.
