  1. I've done this - its the black actuator in the pic above. Costs about $150 from nissan .. they get it from japan. Takes a couple of hours to pull the dash out, replace it and put dash back in (yes the whole dash). I've done it twice, once to replace heater core and once to replace that little sucker. Really not that hard - just remember where screws go - use envolopes and write on them
  2. Stuttering/missing up top on full boost - sounds like you need new plugs, or they need to be gapped a bit smaller. Try a set of BKR6E gapped at about .7mm, go down to .6mm if its still doing it.
  3. Interesting. This looks like an R33 GTR. http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/6448/imga19464bl.jpg Don't like the colour in it, but can't figure out how thats just a seat cover since it is inside the hole behind your head. Let us know how you go.
  4. The newer the better. They all have the same bits in the drivetrain pretty much so they all go well.
  5. Thanks for the update Brent. Perhaps an update on your website and a mass email to customers with the issues to keep everyone informed. People assume the worst when they hear nothing. Communication makes them feel warm and fuzzy. I'm waiting on my part still. Reading this post has made me feel a bit more at ease.
  6. ahah yeah here is the other one. http://www.aussiecarforum.com/download.php?id=534
  7. Go spend the couple of hundred bucks to get it fitted and tuned before it ends up costing you 10k on an engine rebuild.
  8. 3rd party insurance won't help you when you are in an accident with someone else and its thier fault usualy. You need full comp for them to chase this - they only do it then because they would have to pay it themselves if they didn't chace the other person. 3rd party they don't care, not thier problem. Still agree with you tho - should have 3rd party at least incase you smash into a 200k bmw or merc
  9. Jay95r33 thats it ! They were good.
  10. i think it was preditor? i can't remmeber now But someone on here makes the leather handbrake and gearstick boots - i got a set, highly recommend them. As for the front lip, good luck - new one from nissan will cost you around 950-1300 (depending on series) and they don't come up often.
  11. I use greenline as my frist choice, if they dont have the parts or are way more expensive than nengun, then i use Nengun. Greenline ships very quick, but Nengun can usually get parts a bit cheaper.
  12. Just buy a set of new DBA4000 slotted rotors, will only cost you around $450 or so... Gr33dy has some good deals.
  13. the grooves on the outside will be where your pad doesn't hit the disc. The pad mustn't be using the whole face of the disc. If its not touching that part of the disc - it can't wear it out
  14. haha look how small the brake is behind that real wheel
  15. thanks mate.
  16. 32's are lighter but thier chasis was also not as stiff as the 33, plus the extra years would of made it softer again. I'd go for the newest GTR you can afford (year wise) 98 R33's are around 40-45k.. 95 ones around 35k.. then R32's start around 30k, down to the old 89 models you can pick up for 20k.
  17. so how did you guys go? TIMES!!!
  18. hahahah her g-string is mspaint'd on!
  19. You shouldn't need one for your passenger, I've never seen a club car with 2 harnesses. Driver trianing/passenger laps are only at 80% anyway... right snowy?
  20. Just got my jack/jackstands from Nick, pretty good, don't think you'll find a low profile jack like this for less than 300-400$... Thanks mate.
  21. ahha and where the hell is your joint
  22. ahah ok when/where can i pick it up
  23. Does the GTR use the abs sensors to see how fast the wheels are spinning? If so maybe one of them are playing up.... Sorry not sure, just taking a guess. I'm sure someone smarter than me will know... bump
