Repco?? Otherwise Coventry Auto Parts is probably your best bet, I know for a fact that they will have what you want. You don't need genuine as some of the aftermarket stuff is alot better... Just measure and get the right size, remember that you need the slight bend due to the flex in motor and radiator...!!

Have to work late so giving Milton a miss this week...may head down to aspley (the big 5 seconds away) if I get bored and see who is out...
-
Crap...4 things on one day...see what I can arrange but does not look good...
-
I have used both and would PREFER the RB74 (Race Brakes compound 74) for those unaquianted... And yes the squal is there, I have NOT used them on a skyline but on a few other cars. go to www.racebrakes.com.au, otherwise you can get them for a bloody good priceand they also have endless pads for the more adventurous at www.mercurymotorsport.com.au I only use ultimates as they are quiet and I would rather deal with a bit of dust than chewed rotors...
-
Depends when you go there, yes the bogan eliment is still there...the good ol show us the open wheeler diff one wheel try hard skids ruin it for most people...I usually go there with like minded people, usually after the bogans run out of beer and realise that they start work in the factory stamping number plates in an hour...
-
Everything you have just stated are similar to the RB74's, the only difference is that the RB's require a proper bedding in process and that they have a higher operating temp rating... RB74's are still bloody dusty so I am wondering if you have tried both, I have and yes for intended track use use the RB74's its the Metal Kings that fudge your disks, ultimates not nearly as bad.

I have never had a problem with "the pov pack sports pad" maybe differing of opinions, merely it is a street pad, unless you intend to do some track time...and they are cleaner than the standard Nissan pads anyway...
-
If it is cranking "slowly" as stated...then it could be worn bushes in the starter motor...
-
Bendix Ultimates!!! Are they made for the skyline, I have used them on everything else??? And yes Metal Kings wear your discs out...there is even a warning on the box... EDIT: Code for Ultimates is DB1170...about $94 for the front set
-
Check ya starter motor as well...
-
Get a mate with a lighter and some kero and away you go.... EDIT: It HAS to be a GTR sorry
-
I used to get hassled in my pulsar anyway...but then again it was ****in loud...

Saw a very nice R34 4 door, yellow parked near the Marriott in the city this morning, big front mount and standard mags and kit by the looks...very nice car...
-
What about Bunnings at Carseldine...??? Huge carpark has a Subway...but the fact is only after 9 would you venture anywhere near there... Aspley is getting bigger...I have lived their most of my life and decided to buy just up the road...just so I can look out the window and check who is out and about To be honest it works in cycles it will be big for two weeks and then a crack down, the new security guard has been hired for most nights and even Saturday and Sunday last week as there were 2 cruises that left that carpark, a Commodore one...and a Redline cruise...I actually spoke to him on Sunday as he was in the bottle shop and he said that he was not allowed to let anyone with a modded car to park in certain areas UNLESS they were genuine customers...what ever that means

How many bolts hold the headlight in, the two on the top, the one int he bumper...is there another one???? Sorry for the dicky reply but I want to change the bulb this weekend...drivers side...the easiest way possible...

How much you after??
-
Oh look one of the distributors is Coventry Auto, my aunt works for them I think I may have to get some tranny and diff oil...will let you know how I go. Also on the subject of oil, I have found Motul Turbolight better than Mobil one, seems to idle better and smother accelaration...but may just try that redline stuff next service but $100 when you replace it every 5,000 is a bit rich...
-
Check the BOV gasket, you may have a VERY slight boost leak...that is if it happens all the way through the rev range!!
-
I know how you feel... But keep it to the track people...I have been beaten by an excel...when I owned a pushy

Stopping Your BOV From Leaking - A How To
Bobjones replied to Jay95R33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Blocking the hole should in effect make boost come on quicker and hold higher boost. the s15 stock BOV has a hole in the middle of the piston to allow blow by where as the R33 stock bov has that little whole. I would in fact use some loctite just in case, however when installing it back in the surrounding pressure will hold it in place as long as the screw/nail is flat it will seal correctly. I was considering doing a similar thing, however went the whole hog of installing a GFB stealth... -
Well I am going to disagree with a few people here then... recently I installed a pod, K&N tapered with chrome end...have had it for about as long as they have made this model (used to be on one of my dads many drag engines) anyway it sounds awesome, good suction noise and scares the bejesus out of the od commo driver... You CAN hear the standard bov, and it is working fine, however I have replaced the standard BOV with a GFB stealth and all I can say is giddy up... At full plumb back it seems to hold and come on boost quicker, I am aiming to dyno to prove my point unless someone beats me to it, has already been proven on a s15... add to this at FULL atmo the car STILL idles like factory no backfiring, no hiccups nothing, its all a matter of a bit of spring adjustment. This is only factory boost (9psi??) and I am very happy...espcially after I replaced the BOV gasket with a new one as the old one created a high pitched squel which was in fact a boost leak....
-
that makes two of us...sorry to thread hijack but if you have more than one I would be interested in the drivers side bottom inner guard...

Hey Peeps, Well I thought I should post here... I bought my girlfriends 1996 R33 GTST (white with GTR wing, skirt and rear pod) off her about a week ago after I sold my 2000 n15 SSS (we only need one car...). Was directed here by Harun (RNZ11Z- GTST) and Cam (GTR_Cam - GTR dehh) Anyway minimal mods so far (ie pod, stealth, Malpassi, 3 inch 5 zigen cat back) the first two done last night...and I still need decent mags cause the s15 ones just don't cut it... I used to cruise quite often but of late have not had the time...hopefully meet more of you in the near future...I do venture to Milton on the occassional thursday as part of the redline or pulsar group... Cheers Neill

Still looking...seems like a very professional job, I even scouted some known dump zones on the NS last night but found nothing except for a burnt out XD... Let us know how you go with the insurance etc...
-
I would check the rear shockies and lower control arm bushes and this would cause excessive rear movement and thus cause the "sliding" you are referring to. It sounds more like a shock as the active rear end in a skyline is less susceptical to thsi problem in relation to worn or broken bushes...
