  1. Well to answer your question short and sweet... They fit, have exactly the same offset as the standard R33 wheels, how do I know... Well I have s15 mags on my car, I did not like the standard R33's, so for a slight difference I got these for nothing, and no I don't still have the standards...

    Club Update

Well put Ska, it is VERY hard to find time these days and the efforts of Gary and Slip should be recognised by all. In my early days I was very active with Pulsar Group, not a club, as in not incorporated merely a group which is different, but it is alot harder to get sponsors of a group. We don't all go to school and finish at 3 or uni and have 12 contact hours, some of us work bloody long hours to enjoy our lines and the added stress of dealing and waiting on others is not good. Slip and Gary I'll buy you a beer anytime, great work guys!!!
  3. Keep us posted on this case as there are a few more coming up shortly, and all have been post poned due to a not guilty plea. Also in these cases the officers were in a side street and were seen by other motorists who have been called as witnesses. I am unsure of further details as they are not provided, however these officers were given commendations after the court case was announced...whether that is a ploy to prove that their word is greater than the accused I am unsure. All I can say is NEVER admit to anything: Officer: Why were you speeding Answer: I was NOT speeding Officer: Why were you racing, We have been following and saw you racing Answer: We were not racing, we are heading home together, we live near to each other (if relevant obviously) So far there have been a couple of cases 1 of which has been reschedule 5 times due to the "officers" being unavailable. At the end of the day you should not be doing something so stupid, yet society allows us all to drink over 18, if you have too much you get a fine. The reality is by taking away your car and selling it they have broken your rights as individuals to do with your possessions what you want as long as there is no endangerment to others... One question I have, do you get the money when they sell your car???
  4. Could not agree more... the fact is the VCT head works well as it contributes greatly to low down and mid range torque...it also slow alot better so that you can USE the increase capacity of the bottom end... Obviously you have done your homework and investment re the bottom end, maybe a similar investment in the head is warranted!!! The second is your better off using the head combined with a decent ecu...what are you running??? Also running the standard na injectors is just silly (no offense) but they flow bugger all...
  5. There is one of those around Aspley, dipshit even parks it right near the trolley return at the Hypermarket, more money than sense... Damn quick car, and the brakes 6 spot front and 4 spot rear with HUGE rotors...
  6. Owned by ABU53... I have to agree, even though I did have an apartment next door to Family (Sun Apartments) there are plenty of gals, even met the current at Family and damn I am glad I went there.... Oh and Melbourne chicks are skanky, but then again I am limiting that to a few pubs...
  7. Same, changed from Mobil 1...had to do a full oil/engine flush after using that crap...(and yes it had a flush before it even hit the road in oz)
  8. I agree that cross fitting of things is good. Just that the harshness of the clutch design for a 4x4 would add additional tension of the box and thus more change of throwing a box in the bin...
  9. I think so, but its not my ex...she is a little older...I should get the current to enter these things...easy mod money... (EDIT: I hope she does not read this)
  10. I was not going to comment hear until last night. Now previously I have own a Commie, VK 6 banger did a 350 Chev conversion, then I had a RX3, then owned a Corrolla, dropped a Group N engine in it from a mate (yes still front wheel drive), then had a n15 Pulsar SSS few mods nothing major...so yes I have been a Cube Hick, Rice Boy and Wank meister, but for gods sake I have had enough...this all happened last night on the way home from work after a very long day. The Northside was a bit wet last night and as such was taking it easy on the way home. First set of lights, V8 commie, as as people have said had to show him a lesson...which was duly handed out... This was then followed by a cok spank in a corolla with exhaust and chromies...but alas after getting obliterated at the 3rd lights (the second set he was behind me spinning the wheels as I took off slowly) pulling up to a certain Northside roundabout Mr Cheesedick decided he would spin the wheels past me...then cut me off... So being the careful citizen that I am, pulled up beside him and asked if he had been driving long...(add a few more words to that). This was subsequently followed by a gentleman in a Soarer who asked Mr Cheesedick if his mum was Asian cause it looked like he loved rice...harsh I know but he I thought it was funny... Oh and it must have been the exhaust that made the car fast cause I am sure I had to go to second....
  11. That chick looks like one of my ex's even the tits look similar...but alas I now have even better...life is hard...
  12. Well how come the part number for the Daiken HD for a Skyline is R5208HD... I have spoken to both Daiken distributors and to Coventry Auto, and have recieved the following information. "The Nissan Patrol Clutch kit will fit, it has a higher rated pressure plate than the standard Skyline pressure plate. Noting this the pressure plate is rated so as to match the torque characteristics of the Patrol engine, despite sharing similar flywheels, clutches are designed with different applications in mind." and this "The Skyline HD clutch has an uprated clutch plate compared to the Patrol Clutch plate. The clamping pressure is similar however the the combination of varying clutch and pressure plates are designed to take either big torque low rpm, big torque high rpm or any combination in between." or "We do not recommend the fitment of a Patrol Clutch to a skyline and vice cersa, they are designed for different purposes and the clutch compound is different for both kits" Don't kill the messanger, this is the info I recieved.
  13. Yes Joey it is me... Cam is around here sometimes too...depending on work etc... Oh and my calipers can remain stock until I get some bling bling to do a few things at once...
  14. Mmmmm boobs...if only they were not boosted with padding... Looks like a measly turnout...I heard there was like only 250 people left at the end of the day...
  15. Hard luck champ. Hope you know a good repairer that will do the job right!!!
  16. I think you know me already from the pulsar sss days...but now alas you have ventured to the dark side... Yoda was right, there is evil in you...
  17. Ummm that is ****IN expensive, the clutch RETAILS for about $700, but trade price is around $360-400 depending...labour should only be around $350...
  18. Still at work...nothing beats a 14 hour day.... Have fun wish I was there...
  19. That is an affirmative... I know what I am asking for, pull old clutch out, machine fly and install new clutch... I already have a Daiken HD as described bought it from Coventry as I have contacts there...but only one place I have rung gave me a quote of $400 incl machining which is a little high... And I would like it to be done on the Northside, was just wondering if anyone has had experience other than Nick's etc
  20. Open up your HPI mag and look at Insurance Advisernet, they are a client of mine and are very good brokers...they actually found insurance that I could include my girlfriend on. Give Adam Lewis a call and tell him Neill sent you. Cheers Neill
  21. Ok, now I have come to the end of my tether in relation to this... I have called quite a few Clutch places on the Northside, and they keep saying they won't give me a quote cause they have to change pressure plates and clutch plates and they don't know what is in them... BULLSHIT, the fact is I could change it myself, the thing is I want it done properly...with the flywheel machined. I have a Daiken HD clutch kit ready to go without someone to install it. Can anyone tell me their good bad or otherwise stories of places!!! Cheers Neill
  22. Start rant/ Work sucks arse I am so sick of little stupid plebs with no idea... Also have the shits with turbo's deciding they don't like 1 bar...despite being rebuilt 10K ago.... Oh and I need to rob a bank to buy air con cause this heat is giving me the shits... End rant/
  23. I am out, picked the line up Friday and one of the turbos decided to shit itself, has been sent to Townsville for repairs but we are out. Feeling a little depressed so have decided not even to spectate. Good luck to all those racing and make sure you take ALOT of photos of the bikini contest (as well as the racing).
  24. Get a lawyer son, you better get a real one to get you out of this one...
