  1. So how much is it to have a new shroud made up for the twins.Or any of the thermo fans?? The car wont overheat.If anything the fans should be set up right in the first place.Like having a thermo switch kick the fans on at optimal temp. Question! How much leeway should be taken into account when trying to get the engine to stay at a set goal temp.Like when should they start/kick in to be able to hold 76deg/c?
  2. I am keen.All depends on the day tho.Distance to all bar wakefield is close for me. Easter week would suit me as work has a closedown period. EC has allways been in the back of my mind though.

  5. Well i went and had it cleared today.After reverting the car saturday morning.. Now i will only put the sports exhaust on for track days etc...Ratehr than drive arround with it on. I got to say life is qiueter on the road with the stocker.But the power is also considerably less. Atm pannel filter and front mount are the only real power mods to the car.from 180 rwkw to>>??prolly arround 140rwkw

Bosch 044 pump is 330 litres per hour and supports 730 bhp at 73.5 PSI (that's ~500 rwkw) Bosch 040 pump is 235 litres per hour and supports 520 bhp at 73.5 PSI (that's ~340 rwkw) Standard GTR pump is 190 litres per hour and supports 420 bhp at standard pressure (that's ~265 rwkw) Standard GTST pump is 135 litres per hour and supports 300 bhp at standard pressure (that's ~175 rwkw) The rest are arround just got to look.Sorry i couldnt find the 090 ratings.
  7. Well i dont know much in the way of offsets.I do know that the 17/235/45 F and 17/255/40 R are a good combination for the track.Not that ive driven in a car with 18's on the track.The 17's feel responsive on hard suspension.

  10. What the!!Jumping to conclusions.I wasd simply stating that the car was most likely a write off,considering the experience i have had with cars in the past. And it has allways been to my knowledge that cars are written off if the dmage to the chassie/underbody is unrepaireable.
  11. Mask the surrounding areas and you wont have to disconnect the brake calliper.and if you are going to light sand it do it while it is on the rotor and blow sand away and clean. Are you painting both sides?? If you are only doing one side of the calliper then you could do as i said and leave it on the rotor! Go to the diy section and if you cant find it by just looking do a search in there.There is somthing wrong if nothing comes up on the topic.
  12. hello driver side door pushed in considerably,Possible engine damage ( deff radiatior ),bonnet damage (heavy ). It sound like definent underbody damage. This could be a write off for sure dude.I know for sure that 1 smashed headlight baby damage on the front bar and a minor front pannel damage to fix is in the region of $3-5k painted.$3k if you can haggle.And thats also supplying all of the parts needed at the $3k price. So from the sounds of it you have more serious damage than that. GL with it all.

  14. As above.Looks like hicas fluid stop the leak and lock it..prolly only a gasket. While ur there rear strut brace for fun times.works a treat at high speed cornering predictability.Are you still on the stocker tyres?if yes then dissregard what i said.you need low profile tyres imo to really feel it's difference. A more soild rear end on huge sidewall aka stockers, can make the back end feel uneasy at high speeds. I noticed that you have the cooling veins on your diff housing.Cool.

  17. That would seem to be the go. Your poor car!!! Dont frett! the car will be defect free by next week. What i am thinking of doing after i pass is driving arround with the sports pipe that leads to the cat and have the catback part stock.And just swap it over for like you said,track days and drags etc... Where can i buy the silencers?

  19. Moanie your back how was it? Yeah the exhaust wasnt half of what they tried to get me for. I spoke to my engineer at lunch.He said that the car will be allright for a pass including emissionsand db test because we had a test for it when it went back on the road for blu slip.So as long as the stock exhaust goes back on i will be allright he says.. The rest of the stuff he tried to get me for was intercooler,bov,ride height etc.That was all engineered so i have no worries with that. All i need to do is swap the exhaust back over and go down there pass it.And i am back on the road. Then i will look for a silencer or get 1 made for the cannon. I might start it tonight or thursday night.It will only take a couple of hours at home. And yeah,I will get the silencer for it after all of this

  21. It is too loud.I went to livo xhaust at blu slip time last year,and they were going to charge me a small fortune for 3'' zorst and appropriate mufflers.1k or there abouts. So i might just drive arround with a silencer in the zorst.I am going to look for one cause i dont have 1 yet.if not i'll just get 1 made.
