  1. Id say keep the stock manifold for the best response as the shorter runners will simply get the gas to the turbo faster. For the power you're looking to make ya pissing ya money up the wall on headers. I made 336kw on the stock manifold and it was the sweetest RB25 setup you could hope to drive especially for the money spent and being a basic bolt on..
  2. Sounds like my kinda place!
  3. Where did you read that most people making around 500 aren't using vct? As Dale said if its street only VCT for the win. If not if its living life up in the rev range fixed cams will be fine. But seriously sacrificing low down torque driveabilty and turbo response for a lumpy idle is just plain homosex
  4. Thats some nice work there Marty well done mate! Next job should be that horrible hot side pipe with 767866218355 bends in it
  5. I can vouch for this car its clean as a whistle top shelf mods and tune! Car has power everywhere it really is a great drive! If you're in the market for a 33 give ya money to this guy and drive away in this silver bullet Just realised you used an overlay of my 98 tune lol!
  6. Will try again lol
  7. Nice work mate took ya time getting that exhaust on LOL.. Decided on the tuner yet?
  8. Sell skyline buy a 120Y close thread!
  9. So they do they hookup better than the rsr's Matt? Be hard with your car cos its a spastic lol! I run around on the street at 34-36psi mate. What were you running them at?
  10. THIS! X11ty Nistune on a 33 is rubbish! Been there done it & it failed sadly unfortunately!
  11. LOL oh im not doubting ya Matty! Adam I thought the RSR's were a bit grippier than the KU36's not by huge amounts tbh The federals were alot quieter than the kuhmos! I paid $200 a corner fitted for the RS3's in 17×235×45's which I thought was cheap as chips when you consider they are the grippiest "street semi" around. I remember reading something about an event Couldnt tell you the name of the event lol but it was a "time attack" style event at a club level & the fastest times laid down were all on the RS3's with the AD08's running 2nd. The Yoko's were a good $60 more a tyre than the hankooks too
  12. In the "street semi" range ive tried the RSR'S, KU36'S & currently running the RS3'S the Hankooks are light years above & beyond the kuhmos & federals imo The invos probably dont give too much dry grip away to the federals or kuhmos but absolutely hose all the "street semis" in the wet and are quiet as hell for daily duties so its obviously a trade off.. The hankooks are pretty nervous in the wet but better than the other 2 brands lol. Hope that helps
  13. Really? Thats weird threw my tyres on at the end of July last year & mine are the 200 rated tyres lol
  14. I actually think the same applies to the RSR's they went up to 200 also..
  15. They are 200 now mate They found they wore better than the 140 so they bumped them up.. Nothing has changed compound wise just their rating
  16. Yeah mate definitely they make your exhaust sound louder!
  17. I had Nankang rubbish on my 336rwkw GTST and I could spin 1st - 4th under acceleration would spin wheels at 130+kph lol (was well setup suspension and diff wise too) threw the invos at it and changed my car COMPLETELY would only spin if I tromped 1st then a lil bit of a spin into 2nd then nothing but traction! Great tyre! Also great in the wet!
  18. The invo's are a great tyre Michael had em on my old 33 they are literally silent on the road and I found them really good in the wet too! When are these RS3's going on Matty?
  19. Go with the -9's stock cams some cam gears & 1 of the above dumps mentioned by Piggaz a nice 3.5" exhaust and say hello to mid 300 territory mate. They start to pull hard just above 4000 & really put the speed on at 5000 all the way to the limiter.Forget about-7's response is pretty similar anyways but with MOAR
  20. No they aren't the same turbo mate they are alot bigger than the -5's
  21. Haven't heard anything about them tbh but I do know they are pricey upwards of $2.5K from what id heard
  22. Thats correct disco my car had a 3" exhaust and was also very quiet and drone free
  23. I agree definitely steer clear of sports auto group I ALMOST bought an evo 8 that had been in an accident from them & they were chasing premium price. Bought an evo 9 for $800 more with genuine K's & full service history instead. Sam the Salesman also tried telling me I couldn't get my $500 deposit back took almost 2 weeks to get it back I had to pay him a visit & lets just say I had to "demand it back" scumbags! That could actually be the evo I nearly bought! Also after I put the deposit down he told me the factory BBS wheels weren't included in the sale of the car.
  24. Ive got ghosts on PS3.. I'm also on the new NBN with fibre all the way to the house & I still lag like crap Does ya PS run on the wifi or an ethernet cable Cal? Obviously its alot faster plugged in than wifi.. I still find it laggy even when plugged in direct BUT still a bit better... NBN blows its still too slow compared to the rest of the world
