I think your right TurboMick .. Check all the groundings. ensure there isn't any wires broken around the ecu plug. check to see what voltage you get at the pump during the whole stop - start ignition process. clean the afm and TPS (might not be a direct problem but will help) do you have any other wirings? Sub/Amp/Capacitor hooked up wrong? Is the apexi boost controller etc all wired correctly? i highly doubt the ecu alone is to blame.

I'd keep the Mines ECU over the standard ECU any second of the day!! Remember Mines are preloaded mild tunes on it already, pretty sure that if you stick the standard ECU back in with those mods, your going to be running rich.. and retarded. So if its running fine.. 16-16 pound all day everyday... leave it!!
