  1. i have a similar setup to you (running -10s but with an rb26/30) & im very happy with it so i think that you're using the right combo! paul didnt build my engine BUT what i can say is that he has helped me a lot with diagnosis & advice & still continues to do this. from what i have seen on the forum, i can vouch for his workmanship. here are some pics of pauls work - fyi:
  2. tyres were compliments of paul & his mates dog (dave) was eyeing out my nads when i returned them lol i still blame paul for not cracking a high 10 - he told me to hold in 3rd gear across the line...i was on the limiter for almost 1 sec on my good run (paul u baaaad)
  3. steve - what back2back tests u doing with yavus, stock v's match ported manifolds? did u end up going bigger with your exhaust system as well?
  4. i get awesome response with -10s on a rb26/30, much better top end than -5s so for me its a double wammie winner

  8. well the exact displacement of an rb26 is 2568cc, adding 15% = 2953cc if this calculation is correct for nsw, does anybody know the exact displacement for the rb30? maybe engineers just run off the marketed figures i.e. 2600cc & 3000cc

  11. that is right! capacity chews DC, i know when i upgraded these were my results: rb26 with 700cc - making 320awkw & DC was 90% rb26/30 with 1600cc - making 405awkw & DC is 65% (imagine with 700cc, impossible)

  14. off the limiter, side step the clutch. this was also accompanied with a 2nd gear burnout in rwd mode
  15. my best 60' was 1.55s & 129.75mph i was also running drag radials which made my 60'
  16. im in paul - wouldnt mind doing the 1/4 mile again as well... see if i can better my previous run with 320awkw & did a 11.1sec
  17. if that is the case - it will be time for me to do the switch to e85, otherwise my fuel system is complete overkill for 98 (and a bit of a waste)! i also run 3 x 044's like steve

  20. i feel sorry for the trailing gtr on that day - imagine alll the fuel etc sounds like fun guys for a great cause as well!

  22. mine is the same setup as yours - im also running a t piece back to the block but im thinking that the I.D. of my hoses might be larger than yours? my lines are not braided, im using orange earls hose (i just remember the size of the hose)? if your turbos are seeping it sounds liek your engine is breathing heavy, when i lost compression on my rb26 the turbos started seeping oil (i dont mean to freak u out)
