  1. bowden is a freak car collector - if i had the pics on this laptop i'd upload them (they're on my home pc)

  4. it amazes me how the aussies can better that of the what the japanese produce - just look at the likes of pfitzner, motec etc

  6. further to that - what opinion do hks have about garrett turbo's? would be good to hear feedback straight from the horses mouth btw i also run garrett turbo's

  9. last night my brother asked me "show me what it does 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear" ...dont have to ask me twice lol i launched it @ 4krpm & the thing broke out like mad & his response was "you're kidding hahaaa" ...i think he needs to get his gtr back on the road. i'll get a launch onto youtube & post it here - every time i give it a push it surprises me rb26/30 is a great setup! i could easily afford to go to a t51r spl with the extra capacity & would still be responsive on the street

  12. best off asking rob @ rips about the rb30 dipstick & how it should measure in terms of oil level. i also run a rips sump kit BUT i am running the rb26 dipstick & rb26 tube - this i know at the right level needs to be 8mm off the 'high' level as the adapter itself is 8mm thick - this is also confirmed by rob
  13. i think it also depends on the pistons u are running, if they're teflon coated etc i running mahle's & yes they make a bit of noise but it wouldnt be longer than 20sec maybe?
  14. i have tried it in rwd mode (i have a torque splitter in the cabin). as soon as it starts boosting in 3rd gear (around 4000rpm) it starts spinning & my rev limit is set @ 9krpm, i backed off & was quite surprised 4wd mode for me stevo

  18. hey dave - paul has spoken about u and your setup in the past...do u have a thread on your car? im interested to know what turbo setup u are running to achieve 604awhp. its funny if u look at the gtr.co.uk website a lot of the gtr owners have taken up the rb26/30 upgrade as well as the rb30 god in nz (rips racing)...looks like the 3ltr bottom is finally starting to make recognition here in aust oh dear paul - no more can u lay sh1t on forklift motors HA!

  22. yeah it was all supplied. bearings, nismo clutch pack & seals for $700. i took out the diff myself - labour for that might be an extra $150?
