  1. Bumping an old thread to try get an answer on this as well, does a R33 GTST Radiator fit into a R34 GTT?
  2. Just stick with the 1000cc, no reason to change them at all now. If you tuner is still not happy, maybe look for a different tuner because he seems to be out of the loop if he is suggesting to up fuel pressure and run stock injectors.
  3. Pm re exhaust. Very interested
  4. You wouldn't have the blinker plugs/wiring for the front would you?
  5. Ps. Anth, I have a receipt and warranty for your battery in my car.
  6. Ahh troy I forgot to check if they know anything about NBN yet. I'll try remember tomorrow for you. Sorry mate
  7. Sweet, I'll try sort something out soon
  8. Hey Stao, Currently is the R33 highflow the most responsive turbo to make 300rwkw o n E85? What kind of deal can we work out if I give you my stock r34 turbo in return for a r33 highflow?
  9. Don't be sorry for asking questions, it's the way we learn. As long as the pod has a bracket on it then it shouldn't be a problem, however covering it with some stainless or plastic should be fine. I passed with an exposed pod and a FMIC with a hole under the battery tray, but I might just have been lucky. BOV can't vent to atmosphere so make sure it's one that plumbs back, stock BOV plumbs back and they of course have no issues with this. Some aftermarket ones vent to atmosphere and make a louder noise which causes emissions and thus is their issue. As far as I am aware any imported car that is purchased will need to go over Dickson, It used to be just a RWC but this changed a few years back. They also picked up that my boost controller was aftermarket by looking at the solenoid which could cause issues for you.
  10. Hey mate, welcome! It's pretty quiet in here these days but you will still have people willing to help. If the car has been cut up to fit the intercool then they may pick on it. That being said my r33 passed with the pipe running through a cut hole under the battery tray. I also had the battery relocated into the boot and had no issues. Repercussions if you fail I'm unsure about. When I had purchased inside of Canberra then I was told I had to fix them or they would cancel the rego. But I'm pretty sure they can't cancel NSW rego so it would probably just be failed and told to return when it's ready. When you find the car then list up its mods and we can let you know. They don't care about coilovers or pod filters (as long as it has a bracket). Two big things they do care about is noise from exhaust and child restraints. You can easily hide boost controllers and turbo timers.
  11. Shiv from here has been doing powder coating. Probably depends on what needs coating though.
  12. Svn, Honestly, these threads get created often and the answer to the question is to just sell your NA and buy a GTST. You will save loads of time and money, they can be had for very cheap these days. Lots of the time the people asking the question still think its a good idea just to pull the engine out and put a RB25DET in it. But then you have to think about other parts on your car which do not suit the turbo or are not up to spec eg. Brakes. Just learn to drive right now, there is a reason why you aren't allowed to drive a turbo car. Once you get off your P plates, go spend the money on a nice GTST, GTR or GTT
  13. Cheers, I'll see if I can find a second one and message you when I can swing by.
  14. Do you have 2 Found a part number for them. 26243-AA100 https://www.amayama.com/en/search?currency=36&q=26243-AA100
  15. It looks like you are pretty much right on the money john, they seem like they are the things I'm looking for. Maybe jaycar stocks them
  16. Hey John, This is the part that I got, it looks to fit the old one, but not the new one. The difference between them seems to be that one has a slightly off-center groove, where as the new one is directly opposite each-other. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/SCA-Universal-Globe-Holder-Suits-BA15S-Globes.aspx?pid=325158#Recommendations
  17. Hey guys, I just put a series 1 front bar onto my series 2 R34 GTT. Now I'm stuck in a pickle as the two front indicator bulb holders don't fit into the sockets as they are different on each model. Does anyone have any idea where I could source some? I tried supercheap and unfortunately their generic one wouldn't fit. This is the old one, which my indicator plug fits into, as you can see it's slightly different. This is the new one, which my indicator plug does not fit into and the supercheap does not fit into.
  18. So they didn't fit. Any ideas guys? I'm so surprised that they would change the configuration from a series 1 to a series 2.
  19. Did you need any brackets or anything? I'll upload a pic of what I have
  20. Maybe you can help with my head unit install I have had it sitting on the front seat of the car for months haha
  21. Found these, I'll test them this afternoon. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/SCA-Universal-Globe-Holder-Suits-BA15S-Globes.aspx?pid=325158#Recommendations
