  1. Excellent condition Advan RS. These are a premium lightweight forged monoblock rim that were designed for both racing and street use. Size is 19x10 +20, and with a -30 profile tyre, the wheels do not rub at all even on full lock. Perfect fitment for R33 & R34 GTRs, and something unique which every other GTR owner does not have . Not in a rush to sell but would like to clear out the garage so throw me a decent offer if interested. These cost a lot more than the asking price when new. Located in Melbourne but can ship interstate at buyer's expense. Tyres not included.
  2. how bad are the scratches? can you send a close up pic please Dan
  3. Previous buyer fell through. This kit is still up for sale. Don't miss this opportunity to buy an awesome brake upgrade for an awesome price. Most stock R34 GTR brake kits go for around 2k alone. This kit comes with Project Mu SCR rotors at all corners which retail for $1500 through PM Australia, and Project Mu pads. I can even throw in the standard rotors too if you like.
  4. Thats ok mate I understand we can all be stretched thin sometimes and we've all been there The paint on them is in top condition. There is a small stone chip on one of them but it is very small and overall the condition of the brakes including the paint is excellent.
  5. PRICE DROP. $1900 for the complete setup, or $2300 for the complete setup with Project Mu SCR rotors at all 4 corners.
  6. As the title suggests, I have a set of front and rear Brembo brakes off a 2001 34 GTR v spec II (Removed for brake upgrade). Includes all 4 Brembo calipers with Project Mu pads, and rotors. Front and rears. Removed at around 65,000 kms and in very good condition. $2k for the complete setup with standard rotors, or $2500 with slotted Project Mu rotors at all 4 corners - Project mu rotors are in excellent condition and have only seen limited street kms. Awesome upgrade for s14, s15, R33, R32 Located Melbourne. Pick up welcome and Happy to ship if required.
  7. Hey mate PMd you about a month ago but got no reply. Do you still have this part for sale? - I'm located in Melb and can pick up tomorrow
  8. 2 questions: 1 - can it be mounted in the passenger footwell instead of the driver's side? 2 - does it come with the plastic/metal clips that go around the actual extinguisher? cheers
  9. There is no precision. It is a GTR club hence any generation of Nissan-branded GTR is welcome. This means KPGC10 (not that there are any members who own one) to the current CBAR35. In fact, there are more R35 GTRs in the club than R33 GTRs. The R33s are becoming quite rare as they are not as popular. The R32s are by far the most popular and significantly cheaper than R34s, though R34 GTRs are still plentiful within the club.
  10. Exclusivity by badge is wank? Hmm ok. There is nothing to stop MGTROC members from joining SAU VIC also if that's what they desire. After all, SAU is a car club for all Skylines (and any other car too really). Your second point is a bit contradictory to your first. To organise an exclusive event for GTRs within a club that is for all cars is precisely wank factor - members who don't have a GTR will be excluded - hence the point of a GTR club. No wank factor or "comparison of cocks". I don't see why people on here who don't own a GTR get so uptight and get their knickers in a knot when any mention of GTR-only clubs or events comes up (don’t forget the extensive GTR owners clubs in the UK, North America, Singapore etc). I bet these same people wouldn't be having a go at the EVO club and EVO owners for only having EVOs in their club and not all Lancers, or the Ferrari club for not having Lambos. What do you Sir, propose to be a car worthy of its own car club, if not a Lambo? GTRs were, and still are, Nissans flagship sportscar. For their era and even now, and for their price tags, they are unmatched in performance and legendary status. People can argue this all they want, but that would be the real comparison of cocks. So it would seem like a pretty good example to me and many others also, to have a club dedicated to it. There is no pretentiousness intended to other non-GTR Skylines. The R34 GTR doesn’t cost $160k like it did in the early 2000s, and the R32 GTRs now are as cheap as anything. The point of the GTR club isn’t about who's got money or who thinks their car is better, it’s about sharing a common passion and ownership of rare(ish) motoring history. If people on the outside can’t see that and instead look at it with spite and disdain, I’m sorry you feel that way, maybe you should buy a GTR and enjoy life a bit So then, where really is the harm or snootiness in a bunch of GTR owners wanting to get together for social, street and track events? The MGTROC has active members that range from 25 - 60 years old, and everyone gets along really well. Everyone is very social and always welcoming to new people.
  11. No offence taken Ash. It's your opinion and it’s based on what you believe to be the case, not what is fact. Truth is, we are quite aware of the points you made regarding club constitution, elections, treasurer in control of club accounts etc. A lot of this has already been taken care of, and anything that hasn't, is being worked on now - hence the point I made earlier about things being quiet recently as the club is being formally structured, CAMs affiliation is being obtained etc. It is a lot of work legitimising a club as you said, but we have many dedicated members who are keen to make this work. As part of the formalities and affiliation with CAMs, the club is required to formulate a constitution outlining much of what you have just mentioned such as executive positions, responsibilities, club guidelines etc. We are well aware of the formalities and what is required to institute a formal club. We also have an established network of wholesalers in Japan, and workshops locally who are sponsoring the club and providing very significant member-only discounts. These discounts are not only for parts coming out of workshops such as Top Secret, but also for bodyshops and tuners locally who deal extensively with GTRs - hence there is a good incentive for GTR owners to join. Also, given the 'active' members who have shown serious interest in acquiring their CAMs license and thus paying membership fees, we will also be able to provide membership cheaper than any other club out there as the numbers permit us to do so (as you are aware, the price of CAMs affiliation for a club is determined by the number of members within the club). Yes MGTROC does not have the numbers of SAU, nor the website & knowledge base, but we have what I believe to be a much stronger and more active membership base. So no, I don’t agree with the notion that it is "just a bunch of people with similar interests". It quite clearly isn't. Also, I noticed in a document you released highlighting some points from an SAU meeting you had recently, that one of the problems SAU Vic faced along with a diminishing membership base was a “lack of club identity”. In the most polite and objective way, a large part of the problem lies within the whole ethos that defines SAU Vic - as it currently stands, it is more of a social Skyline interest group than a dedicated Skyline or GTR club. This is quite obvious to anyone who turns up to any of the SAU Vic events. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with this or with SAU, but it's simply not what a lot of Skyline/GTR fans are looking for. I can appreciate that people have owned such cars then sell them and move on, but when such people bring cars other than Skylines or GTRs to a Skylines Australia club event it doesn’t do wonders for the image or identity of the club. I do not mean to offend anyone and simply wish to highlight a point which many have made. It is akin to someone who owns a Porsche turning up to a Ferrari club event. This is an issue which MGTROC does not have to deal with, as we strictly and strongly have an identity of GTRs only, and though we are yet to hold a track event (which will be held in conjunction with other car clubs to obtain viable numbers), we will also be holding more regular events. There are clubs out there for everyone, and some people may prefer the more laid back 'everyone/every car is welcome' approach of SAU, while others may prefer to be exclusivley surrounded by the cars they love. Each to their own. Each club can undoubtedly provide benefits to its members.
  12. The Melbourne GTR Owners Club has been up and running for about 2 years now! Ash is right though. There have been endless GTR pages popping up in the last 6 months and it's becoming a joke now. GTR Buy and Sell, GTR parts, GTR this GTR that, R34 GTR etc. etc. There's the GTR Owners Club Australia which is more of a facebook group than anything. Most people in the group are vic-based and the facebook group doesn't run events or activities. The facebook page is more of a a forum for GTR enthusiasts and not everyone in it owns a GTR. Then there's the Melbourne GTR Owners Club (MGTROC) which has been around almost as long, and also has a facebook group though it is actually a legitimate car club. It is strictly for GTR owners in Melbourne only and is in the process of attaining CAMs affiliation. MGTROC does run GTR-only meets, social events and hill runs, though lately things have been a little slower as the club is being restructured for CAMs purposes. It is soon to have its first GTR-only track day in association with another car club (probably EVO club at this stage). There are various workshops associated with the club, as well as well known shops in Japan which will be offering member only discounts very soon (some have already started doing so). Feel free to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/408384915948934/
  13. Directly from Nismo Japan LOL can't go wrong (unless it's with translation )
  14. What would you think if you saw a Ferrari badge on a Hyundai and the Ferrari logo sprayed on its hubcaps? Would you laugh at the owner's poor taste, total lack of class, and disregard for 'doing up' their car in a 'socially acceptable' manner, or would you be like "nope, I have total 100% respect for this bloke and his 11.5 Kw Korean banger with Ferrari branding"?
  15. You sound more "butthurt" than anyone. Your profile says you drive a GTT - I made the connection and think everybody else here did too. If you want a GTR, go buy a GTR, or stick to your GTT until you can afford a GTR. No biggie if you don't have one or can't afford one, just don't make yourself out to look like a wannabe tool. It makes all of the guys with real GTRs look like tools too. Likewise, blokes who drive around in Commodores with Chev badges cop it heaps. I don't know what gave you the impression that they didn't. It's the same logic for them but perhaps not as bad, because they're not putting a performance label on their cars, just another brand. The GTR badge has legendary status and personifies the pinnacle of Japanese performance motoring. It is probably the most renowned car to come out of Japan. To stick it on a $4000, P-Plate Skyline bucket with stickers all over it and drift toys hanging off the tow hook is a sin. The misfit deluded owners who do this should be shot or put through counselling and/or psychotherapy.
  16. Why the change to genuine nismo Terry? Is the bodyform front giving you trouble?? I've been tossing up for genuine nismo too but don't know if i can stomach the exorbitant cost....
  17. Hey mate, Tarek isn't part of Skylines Australia but he is part of the Owners Club on respective facebook pages - I'm sure he'll sort things out with you. Sounds odd for him cos he's a pretty straight guy and real nice too.
  18. mmm if only these were 19s I would have taken them off you!!....ps. LOL at them not clearing the GTSTs big brakes ahahahhaha
  19. Up for sale is a set of genuine Nissan R34 GTR headlights in excellent condition. Nearly all of the used GTR headlights you will find for sale have crazing (micro-cracking) or hazing (oxidation/yellowing) on them. A few also have damaged housing around the final bulb. Not these. They are USED but in excellent condition with no crazing or hazing, no broken mounting tabs, and all bulbs and xenons are functional. These are a spare set I have had for a while in my garage with the intention of installing them on my GTR, however now I would rather free up funds for other things. Located in Melbourne but will post interstate at buyers expense. $1100 or nearest offer. Please no low balls, there's plenty of battered GTR lights out there for cheap if that's your thing
