  2. Hi all, just wondering who around town can do custom braided lines to/from a catchcan. No off the shelf kits available and spoken to a couple workshops that dont do them. I'm aware there are a few DIY kits online but don't have the patience or experience to be messing round with something like that so I'd rather just pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it properly. Please only recommendations for places that have actually done it, not places you think can do it. Cheers - Mike

  10. Congrats sounds like an amazing car. Would also be very keen to hear more details about the overhaul in Japan. The 33 GTR was my first love of Nissans in the 90s and I'm glad there's still a lot of love for it.

  12. Here are couple pics of the exhaust. Just took it out of box. Mint condition just needs a clean. Also to clarify, interior trim is for V Spec I not V spec II as I erroneously typed. Part no is 68104 AA001.

  14. Having another parts clear out. Have a few bits and pieces lying around, all in excellent or new condition. Want it all gone so make a reasonable offer if you want something - - Advan RS 19*10 + 20, excellent condition, minimal use and in storage for years, no rash or buckles - $2600 - V spec II Xenon headlights (both in very good condition, all tabs still attached, does NOT include xenon ballasts or globes) - $750 - V spec II centre interior trim (brand new still in box, plastic that fits behind and around sides of head unit trim, lighter grey to suit earlier model R34s) - $380 - V spec II turbos, no shaft play - $500 for both - V spec II AFMs - $175 for both - V spec II camshafts, no kinks - $100 - Nismo Weldina exhaust, used but in excellent condition - $900 (the OG 80mm system with oval shaped tip. Over 2k USD new) Have attached a few pics, can take more if needed. Also attached is shot of an R34 with exact same Advan RS for reference, and the Nismo Weldina exhaust (not my actual one though mine is the same. Currently it's boxed up at the back of my garage.) I think the prices listed are fair but as stated I would like to clean out my garage, so if you want something shoot me an offer and if it's reasonable the parts are yours.

Want it all gone so make a reasonable offer - V spec II turbos, no shaft play - $400 for both V spec II AFMs - $175 for both V spec II camshafts, no kinks - $100 V spec II genuine carbon vented bonnet, NACA duct showing signs of age and could do with refinishing - this will be in the thousands, make an offer Advan RS 19*10 + 20, excellent condition, minimal use and in storage for years, no rash or buckles - $2400 Brembo brakes (standard GTR) with Project mu Type HC+ pads and SCR rotors, all 4 corners, plenty of meat left on everything - $2200 HKS EVCs (brand new in box) - $300 Nismo Weldina cat-back exhaust, not TI, used but in excellent condition - $1000 I think the prices listed are fair but as stated, I would like to clean out my garage, so if you want something shoot me an offer and if it's reasonable the parts are yours.
  16. Yesss big shame they recently discontinued them. I was eyeing off a pair early 2017 then went overseas and forgot about them. Had another look few weeks ago and was gutted to see they're no longer around though theres a few sets of the early model headlights still going round ...do you know what it would take to fit these Raj? I actually quite like the ballast colour of the Vspec I more than the Vspec II. Cheers for your post. Very informative

  18. I've been around a lot of pedantic finicky GTR-owners with mega dollar cars who have all gone to one person to do their work. I have too. Steve at SL Customs is second to none. No cheap or rushed paint jobs. Only show quality paint each and every time. I can personally vouch for him as can a huge number of GTR owners across Melbourne. He started off doing show pieces in the muscle car scene and has done some very rare exotics. He's one of the few who can do a tremendous job on bayside blue and midnight purple and is usually booked out well in advance, so don't count on him squeezing your bucket with Chinese fiberglass in for a 'cheapy', if that's your thing . He's not on these forums so PM me if you want more details.
  19. I don't quite remember hence me asking ......but they wouldn't fit and i think the tabs may have been in slightly different positions. Also the v-spec II headlights are now discontinued but Nissan Japan still makes the earlier model lights...
  20. Hi all, just after any info anyone has on the difference between the headlights on the pre-Aug 2000 R34 GTR (v spec) headlights and the post August v-spec II headlights. They have different part numbers and i was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between them was, and how easy it would be to fit the earlier model R34 GTR headlights to the later R34 GTRs. I bought a pair of the earlier ones years ago then sold them because they weren't a straight swap for the vpsec II ones. Anyone have some definitive answers and know if or how easy it would be to fit the vspec lights to a vspec II? I recall the positioning of the tabs being different though i may be wrong....
