  1. Low cars should be fine, just look at how long and easy the tracks up to the dyno are: Having said that, the owners are car enthusiasts and if a car is too low I'm sure they will accommodate for that too Well done with the thread Aaron! It will be a great day
  2. Awesome photos Jamie! Was a great night, congratulations to those that won an award. See you all next time! My inferior photos haha
  3. Will be there around 8-8:30pm onwards
  4. Wow, nice air in the second photo! Awesome videos Was it bumpy at all (like last time)? Looks really dry though, was it easier or harder to do a handbrake turn in the dry dirt?
  5. Are the new stairs all finished on the Lyrebird track?
  6. Whoa! Congratulations Adrian Did you get a trophy? Well done, you have some awesome skill at these events
  7. So awesome, how many competitors were there? Any more photos?
  8. Wow you posted that up quickly haha For anybody wondering, this an extremely fun (and cheap) event, definitely worth checking out for a day Wish I could make it, but at Heathcote at that day
  9. Sure, but I am in every car club so it will be unfair. Especially since I am planning some multi-club events for 2013 haha Having been nominated, if elected, I will seek to raise taxes, introduce new taxes and reforms, restrict your freedoms, monitor your movements, censor your words and sample your women.
  10. I would love to nominate the current people (because I know they can do an awesome job), but I want to see some more people step up and wish to be nominated. Get some competition in the elections to spur further greatness for 2013! Unfortunately I won't be able to make the meeting, best of luck to everybody!
  11. Could it be where all the Tuk Tuk's are in a Tuk Tuk Chase across the city and a number of them drive off the incomplete bridge? (or anywhere else in the rest of the awesome scene)
  12. Deposit and entry form submitted! Looking forward to a day of fun
  13. Just realised that this is on a Monday... I have Monday's off from work... Seriously considering going to this haha Thanks for posting it up 180Shauny
  14. Membership with other CAMS affiliated clubs is usually $100 or more. Hell, if you come to the SAUVIC annual dyno day, I'm pretty sure the sign up was only $50 (and if you wanted, a $50 dyno run as well!). You don't have to get CAMS, that's up to you and only if you want to get involved in great motorsport events. Also all the discounts more than make up for the cost of membership, the only discount I ever use is the Garage Cafe one. Instead of disrespecting what is probably the most affordable and value for money club out there, why not go check out other CAMS affiliated clubs and see how much more you pay and how much less you get for the membership. Also, there isn't much in the members section, events usually get posted up to the public forums anyway, but the details are usually withheld to entice new people to come along. The club is a friendly community, not some Illuminati-like secret hideout for vikings. At the end of the day, if you don't want it, don't get it. Nobody is forcing you to be a paid member, all it does is enhance your time and experience with the club. Everything else is the same
  15. Silver R33 GTR at McDonald's Noble Park at 1am on Friday night. Had custom plates, GTR-some numbers (don't remember). I was in the aero kit white 86
  16. Another video, sorry about the delay, my Internet is just that slow
  17. It was so much fun going out there and attempting the slalom courses and testing the car's ability on cornering was a blast - especially when AGE gave me a session on how to do the handbrake turns, that was really fun! haha My photos are here Have slow internet, but videos will go up slowly. Will definitely jump on the next one of these events! Thanks to Adrian for a great day out
  18. They said on the regulations you may be able to get CAMS on the day. If you have nothing going on, it might be worth checking out at least Can't wait for tomorrow! haha
  19. Didn't even see you there Liam My photos are here Also, this is for Aaron, courtesy of my photographer mate:
  20. Awesome, congratulations Adrian Looks like a fun day, can't wait for the motorkhana on Sunday
  21. This Garage Cafe meet is on the same night as a Lotus Elise club garage cafe meet. Will be a sexy night of cars all around
  22. Was a few days ago, but spotted SKY-35 or SKY-V35 in Frankston, on the road outside the tafe around 5:30-6pm
  23. With all the reports of Skyline's being stolen left, right and centre, it's easy to lose track of where it is actually happening. I'm more of a visual person and had some time to kill, so I made a map of all the Skyline's that have been stolen in the past two years from reports on this forum. This map is just an indication of the areas where cars have been stolen in the past and may be served as a cautious warning/reminder for anybody living in or parking in those areas or surrounding suburbs. Take care of your cars and maybe invest in a decent GPS tracking system if you are really concerned! Click on the image below (or this text) to see the map:
  24. Was a great day! Shit load of cars, but no major incidents - although a few cars got black flagged early on apparently (but I missed all that). All my photos are here
