Very true, though I've only been on the committee for like two months and now that the Dyno Day is long gone, I will aim to run monthly cruises and events. So there will be plenty of cool stuff coming up Come along to the Lakes Entrance cruise next weekend, for a relatively boring run, it has more interest than I expected haha

Good thinking, it's so hard to find a dedicated Skyline club, I mean there is only: Skylines Australia, SkylineOwners, R31 Skyline Club, Classic Skylines Australia and various GT/GTR based clubs. It's almost as if there was nothing out there! Seriously though, we are running a whole lot of events this year, some open to anybody and some exclusive to members. A Cafe is hosting SAU VIC at their fine venue and giving us a free coffee or drink with any purchase. They will be reserving a table for us and treating us like kings! We will take a casual drive through the mountains to get there and continue on after brunch through some more winding roads before heading home. This is a great way for new members to meet other like minded enthusiasts whilst getting the benefits of SAU VIC club membership and having a fun drive with a great crew! What's the Esplanade Reserve like at midday Sunday? Does it get packed or will there be space for 10-20 cars? Just checking my calendar now, I think Sunday the 19th or Sunday the 26th would be best as there really isn't much of anything on those dates (yet). I'm leaning more towards the 19th (though it's the same day as the GTCC Interclub Go-Kart Challenge). How is the 19th for you Chris?

So Lakes Entrance it is! The route will probably just be the highway as it's a fairly long drive just to get there from Melbourne. How about a BBQ lunch or something? The Esplanade Reserve looks like a decent place to stop and have lunch as it has plenty of parking and it's right in the park. I've never been to Lakes Entrance, so Chris do you think that is a good idea? I'm thinking we do it sometime mid to late May as we have a members only cruise coming up at the end of April as well. If people are cool with those ideas, I'm happy to put it together

1200km?! What route are you taking? I did the whole loop in about 850km and that's with taking the scenic route home via Mansfield and with a melted exhaust!

SAUVIC are having their annual dyno day and since not everybody checks the Vic/events sections, I'm putting this invitation out to the R35 forum to let you guys know about the event. Date: Sunday 7th April 2013 Time: 8.30am - 3pm Dynos should start any time after 9am. Cost: $60.00 which includes 3 dyno runs, a print out and any advice that may be worthy.
