  1. This is the symptoms of a blown head gasket is it not?
  2. You also want a totally stock car when it comes to getting it complied under SEVS Mick. You might be able to get the TV converted to play in Australia by Nam's Electronic Services in Sydney. Looks like a very tidy example. Did you get the kind of money you wanted for your R33? I've seen it 4 times in the last week, and I was wondering why you weren't waving to me!
  3. You need to undo the nut, but as the others said, leave the nut on a tad. Leave the steering wheel on with all hex bolts still connected to the boss kit. Ball you hands up into fists and bash with the outer part of the steering wheel really quickly with both hands at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock, making it vibrate. You need to loosen the bond between the spline of the column shaft and the boss kit. Then go ahead and try and reef/wiggle the steering wheel off. This is an assured way of removing the steering wheel!
  4. Pretty much yeah. The JP will write a little blurb saying the copies are a true representation of the original copy blah blah blah and sign and date it.
  5. I don't mind the new shape, especially photochopped and lowered by wilch
  6. Sounds like faulty coilpacks?? One basic diagnostic technique to use when the car is in its spastic mood and is missing is: Remove the coilpacks one by one, and if nothing happens when you remove that particular coilpack, it means it is buggered.
  7. Either way, you will be happy. I think get the bike - you will appreciate your Skyline more, especially when you get caught in the rain on the bike. What type of bike were you thinking of?? On your L's now you can get up to 650cc as long as the power to weight ratio isn't too radical. Maybe get a cheaper bike to begin on, then you still have some cash for the car.
  8. Looks very well maintained and the new owner will be very happy with it. The leather doesn't look at home to me for some reason. Just used to the standard interior I supose.
  9. My DR30 which is pretty much standard bar exhaust, filter and boost runs low 14's - ie PB 14.3 @ 102mph
  10. Love the rims - suit the car so well and have a nice dish on the rear. Will look much better once the body is all stock.
  11. Would be hard to do with the standard cast dump pipe. I would buy a second Japanese dump pipe with the screamer pipe. Also note that these are illegal and defectable.
  12. They are not available new. Expect to pay $80 each second hand.
  13. Evo 7 will be done by a few companies in the coming months as they are getting hold of Raws licences. Expect to pay around $45000 for a clean, standard example, on the road with 3 years warranty.
  14. Don't like your chances of sorting this out. Someone has obviously signed for your goods and now has them.

  16. Just by the pipe design and also on the top blue silicon hose, it looks like it has Greddy written on it.
  17. Allblitz - it will take a lot of time and money to get that car complied LEGALLY. Its not a simple matter of putting the coilovers to the standard height, the car needs to be 100% standard. Looking at the pictures, it needs: Rims, Steering Wheel, Seats, Wing, Exhaust, Intercooler, Carpet, Suspension all put back to standard to begin with. Good Luck
  18. Very ordinary Craig. Hope you get it back in tact without any dramas. What happened at WSID?? Was this on 23/02/05?? I raced this car it was a good thing!
  19. Looks like a Greddy intercooler kit. Don't forget the drift handbrake button!
  20. Hahaha busted. I don't think anyone really sells their plates for anywhere near what they ask for, if they sell them at all.
  21. Seems genuine enough!
  22. Black smoke - running too rich for some reason??
  23. Its not a 10k fix at all: - $1800 for a full R33 S1 Nosecut (Radiator support, radiator, condensor, fans, bar, reo, ind/foglights, headlight, bonnet latch and upright) - $350 for R33 S1 Bonnet - $295 for R33 Guard - $500 to $1000 for suspension items - $2500 for panel beating and painting As stated by some others, you could in theory get change from $7000 if you do it all right
  24. NSW plates have the same problem, only thing you can really do is bend them as little as possible. They number plates will look ghey mounted out further from the bar.
