Yeah I have the 34GTR review on my PC and also a page link to most previous episodes: http://www.finalgear.com/category/top-gear/

Exactly the same with the UK except the motorways are supposed to be limited Cost me a small fortune to learn but did all of the above include snow driving etc. I was shocked when I went through the learning with my g/f here how easy it was and how she was forewarned of what they would be assessing on. Uk has around the 40% first time pass rate. I passed 3rd time and paid around $1500 to learn. I had a bonus lesson after on motorways as you are not allowed on them when learning. Good post B)

Was going to ask if they were like Sky Hooks. I think it goes back to Troy's first post about track days so probably needs a clearly accessable one for track recovery and perhaps thought it looked odd with just one, so put in a second. B)

So you are what they cool a toolie? Had someone call about the car in the morning so got scrubbing on it and he viewed it in the afternoon. Coming back tonight for a second look with someone else so fingers crossed. Unfortunately it wrote off doing anything else Sunday, appologies people and hope it was a good event.

Listen to a lot of CD's at the moment as there seems to be a phase of crap music much like the movies. Used to listen to H,K,D a fair bit but generally channel surf. At work listen to UK stations online either with listen again or live.

Agree Adz Mav, I have said this to you before mate, you are a good driver in my opinion and one to be a role model for P platers. Yes a dickhead will be a dickhead in any car.

Gohan - That could be a good idea actually and one i had thought of. I have that on my jetski licence, it is a normal boat licence with a PWC endorsement as I sat 2 tests. Good thinking Those guys who think a 2 Litre N/A is going to present problems overtaking a semi trailer, think again. Firstly if either were unfit for the conditions, they would not be on the road. A 2 Litre car is plenty powerful enough. You are not on a disability scooter, its 2.0 of petrol. Secondly this country has some of the biggest engine cars I have seen along with the US. How do you suppose in Europe where most cars with the exception of luxury cars are below 2 Litres and are N/A cope with passing a truck? They may not be B-Doubles but there are far more semi trailers. Edited: Dezz and Miller the hoon- how about keeping the thread respectful to other users

There was a group buy done earlier this year on here for a place in Mitchem on Mooroondah Hwy. Think it might have been Premier Tint. Thats where I got my car done. Excellent job on it. Do a search in the Vic section. Mine was $180 as it was a four door sedan.

Precisely my point, well said mate, get the earliest development driving out of the way in a slower car

So many different threads have been done on this over the past couple of years in different rooms. My 2c: There is no need for a P plater of any age, whether it is 18-21, 47-50 to have a car that they are looking at banning. Someone with little or no experience needs something forgiving. A big BHP car will not give you the room to escape that inexperience. Coming from a pedestrian/public transport user you are now faced as a driver with weather conditions, other peoples actions in vehicles, other distractions in the car etc. Big power is not something else a p plater needs to contend with. I started with a 1.1 litre 4 speed manual and I am glad I did. It will be too hard to police though with the amount of resources needed to monitor it being enormous. The only way I see to make it work is through insurance and make it an offence to drive without insurance. Rant over

Excellent, I will just come back to the first post each time, easy done. Also emailed you so if you didnt get it, let me know and I will resend. B)

Inark can we do a new thread with no whoring so we can work out what you have purchased and had delivered and what you are waiting on etc. I dont have time to read through pages and pages of chat. At the moment I see $46.65 for the unit and mains charger. A suggestion, how about each person in the group buy put up one post each and just edit that so it remains readable for all of us.

For those that follow Rallying as I do and especially the Brits, this news has emerged over the last 24 hours: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,4-1892119,00.html All I can say is it is a total shock to me as there was no advance warning of any kind. I originally doubted it but courtesy of the ford site I belong to in the UK, it has emerged as correct. I am in total shock with this as the last I heard, he was on the mend and looking forward to a comeback. Very sad day indeed

Harsh luck mate, especially as you say in Malvern. Hopefully a spate of them isnt about to start with the other guys one from here going last month or the month before. Will keep an eye out anyway.

Surely if it was CAMS involvement, a trip to Ash would be worthwhile, he might even cook breakfast on the BBQ while you are there!
-
Price sounds good to me. Where do you get the extra 5 chargers required from though? I see him offering 5 and us needing 5 thus having enough. The only thing he isnt offering is the car charger, is that correct? If we use other accessories, does it affect the warranty in any way? **EDIT Ah I see you mean extra 5 car chargers.

Purchase 1 1400ml Marghareta from Taco Bills and you get given one. Personally it should be done on consumption I think as I endured a red russian for mine which wasnt pleasant! Each one of those drinks that night was $35 so multiply by the hats you see, plus meals and additional drinks to see how much was spent

They must have been out for a week then I would assume. Didnt mean it ran out when I was there was posting more as an observation so we can try and build a picture of empty stations.

Is the earphone mic thing for handsfree use?

Well for all the $$ we spend with BP every month, I still have no reply from our account manager although she did reply to another email so I am assuming she doesnt want to initiate any kind of panic that I could pass on! Will ask her again anyway. BP corner of Springvale and Wellington was all out on Friday afternoon of Ultimate when I filled up.
