Yes he does combine shipping, i got everything at $575 shipping i don't know how it's so cheap but he must have ties with USPS or something to do it that cheap. Either way, i'm not complaining he's done me a pretty damn good deal

Greg is right on the money with comparing rebuild costs to brand new costs.. I was quoted more to rebuild my box than to buy a brand new cd009 box which has stronger synchro's..

How would you get around this, do you mean transferring money from 2 different accounts? Yeah wouldn't be a bad idea, i'm guessing there is a substantial fine that goes along with avoiding import taxes? lol, Coz says he does it all the time and has no negative feedback but yeah.

On another note, does anyone know a guy that owns a blue 86 plates GKS86 i think it is.. it's out the back of my work in the workshop, just noticed he's fitted a HKS exhaust, HKS Hypermax coils, and some other HKS intake piping. Needs to put a rocket bunney bodykit on it though and change the wheels.. looks nice though

Damn, too late now i've just sent the paperwork off to my bank. Thanks though i will use that for future transactions. I got a killer deal off Coz at ConceptZperformance. I purchased a brand new CD009 gearbox with all the bits included like chromoly pivot ball ss clutch lines and nismo bushings. I also purchased a Southbend clutch & flywheel combo (Southbend is made by Exedy so it's good quality) And i was going to buy some amsoil gearbox & diff oil off him but he couldn't source it so i got it for Brisbane pretty cheap. Anyway, for everything it's exactly $3,144.00 shipped to my door. Shipping for everything was only $575 or something so i'm pretty pleased with that. Coz is also writing up a 2nd invoice to go with the package marked as a gearbox rebuild and valued at under $1000 so i don't get any import/tax fees!

Yep lol.. i got my car tinted through work on Wednesday and the tinter is only a little bit shorter than me and you should have seen how uncomfortable he was trying to apply the tint on the back window.. he still thinks it's harder to tint an FT86 than a V35 though haha.

Yeah see that's what i thought, it's just annoying reading posts like that when people aren't correct. Coz replied to a 2nd email saying that they use the exact same gearbox for LHD and RHD and that the guy from England has no idea what he's saying. I think i've got enough confidence now to transfer Coz a lot of money.

I have been doing a shit load of research on doing the swap but i haven't even thought if it will actually fit into my RHD car.. i found a post on www.my350z.com and they mentioned "Importing gearbox from USA. Sharif, had a good deal on some CD009 gearboxes (latest revision) (c.£1,000 excluding delivery and VAT/duty, at the previous favourable exchange rate); but these were incompatable with RHD cars. The gearboxes are RHD/LHD specific" Does anyone have some insight on this? I can't seem to find any other information on the internet and Coz from ConceptZperformance hasn't replied to my email yet asking him if it will actually fit.. I am purchasing the gearbox clutch and flywheel today so a quick reply would be great. thank you. Edit: Ok so Coz replied to my email just as i hit post on here, he says quote "oh yea, we ship them there all the time" I am still a little worried, surely he wouldn't just say that to make a $3200 sale would he?

Just don't move to Mackay unless your a miner, cost of living especially rent is double the price of everywhere else. But i guess coming from Sydney (like me, i'm from Frenchs Forest) then you'd be used to that. Oh and it's humid as all hell up here, sunny coast is definitely where you wanna be mate.
