does your driver side window and passenger side window both go up and down at the same speed? or is 1 slower than the other? this is a very common problem with these cars, usually the motor generates alot of gunk and dirt inside the motor usually around the brushes. There is a DIY to clean them but usually the problem just comes back later so best to solve the issue right the first time. BUT, in saying that i'm not sure if that problem is caused by the gunk and shit building up by the motor. I would PM Chris Rogers or wait til he replies here usually he chimes in on these topics regarding the power windows

On topic of the oil consumption issues.. my car has used almost 1.5L of oil in around 7,000km/6 months. Definitely doesn't seem normal to me, but i keep getting different dipstick readings it's very annoying and it's such in a stupid location!

Hey mate, been reading through your 32 GTR build that was a great read and loved the pictures! In regards to the project car being street legal and registered, i think your going to come across a lot of difficulties with the QLD government as i'm sure you know. I'm no expert in this field, but have you considered buying another car something like a ute or wagon (wagon would probably be a better idea for the twins) and a trailer and just doing what most people do with track cars and tow it around? I can understand how great it would be to have your track car also a daily drive, but unfortunately there are a lot of hoops you have to go through to make that possible. Whatever you do, goodluck! Once i'm off these silly green p's i plan on getting myself a pearl white S15. Absolutely love the shape of the S chassis and the range of parts and mods you can do to them is massive, not to mention SR20DET parts are reasonably cheap.

Now THAT is cool! Ultimate sleeper right there. My mate has a 4 door r33 and it's close to 400hp, apparently it's going to be pushing 500 or even more pretty soon. It looks like an absolute peice of shit. Paint is all rooted, car is always filthy and i mean ALWAYS. He gets shitty every time it gets clean because he usually gets pulled over when it looks clean lol. Exterior is completely stock, wish i had a photo.. definitely wouldn't expect it to make the power that it does.

New gearbox, flywheel, clutch. Keep collecting more tools and parts for the car. exhaust, coils, new lights, fix all the little issues with the car. go to hawaii

Nailed it Rob. I actually speak to a fair few people that think most Mackay drivers aren't the worst in the country. I shake my head at those people. Also lol at merging is a life or death situation, that many people cut me off to merge or even just change lanes it's not funny.

Why don't people take it easy when it's raining? Last night coming home from slade point it was absolutely pissing down rain could not see 10m in front of me and it was basically flooding. Yeah i like the dash cluster of the S15's. But there is a car i absolutely love the interior design of, a Supra! I was in my friend Taija's supra the other week, i love how it sort of curves around and everything is facing the driver. Some people don't like it but i think it looks super cool.

I think i just like them because they are obviously visually appealing cars and have a great motor and parts are easy to find and not overly expensive! If i could drive a turbo and didn't have my V35, i reckon this would be a damn good car to start off on. I'm 21 and i pay $2200 a year with RACQ my excess is about the same and i've lost my licence before but no claims before. Just sucks that RACQ don't allow unlimited mods lol so i'm changing soon.

Hey Mat, you know that's for sale? It's still on CarSales, i think he's asking about 50k and my god it's tidy! But in terms of low, i'm on Eibach Pro Kits 1.1'' drop front and back and it's plenty low enough for me, every driveway has to be taken on a crazy angle and i've got to be much more careful than i was at stock height.

Yeah there isn't many V35's in Aus that are Turbo'd or Supercharged so it would be interesting, but the only real downfall with my car is that there isn't a lot of people in the country that know a great deal about them and parts almost always have to be sourced from Japan/USA. I still have 12 months.. so i got plenty of time to decide!

I think once i'm finally off these P plates i'll look for a tidy S15. Seems to be a shit load of SR20 bits and peices reasonably accessible and cheap rather than turning the V35 FI or throwing a Vortech on it.
