Today is one of those days where i just really don't want to be at work. Day is f*cking dragging on like crazy and i'm bored as shit.
-
Good stuff Sam, i saw they uploaded a picture to facebook of a silver V35 getting tuned i was hoping it'd be a forum member!
-
Haha that's brilliant, if you had a passenger seat i would of said you should get one of those dash stickers that say "SHUT THE f**k UP I GOT THIS!"
-
Haha i know it's weird but when i got them out of the box i was like ehhhh not sure i like them.. then i put them on the car and lowered it and i liked them again. Yeah i have heard impressive gains from Superchargers on these motors with not much work needed to the internals and what-not. The only turbo/supercharged cars i've ever driven are F6/GT/GT-P's when i worked for Ford but never a built turbod car like a supra or skyline. I can't wait to get on my opens.
-
You'd be suprised, there is a few more engine mods i can do to gain more killerwasps like a plenum spacer & better intake. I'm still on my greens for another 12 months so i can't go crazy, but i think i will sell the car around then or at least throw a Vortech on it i'm really not sure. I've got the same wheels i was going to sell, i put them on the car and liked them again.

CD009 gearbox (sort of a factory revised box with better synchro's etc) - $2475 delivered Motordyne Shockwave TDX V2 + ART Pipes Exhaust - $2700 delivered RDA Slotted + Dimbled rotors + EBC red stuff pads - $919 delivered for all 4 rotors and pads Osiris UpRev tuner with all software and equipment, just need a laptop to do the tune - $700 or there abouts That's how i'll do it in order too, had a hard time deciding between wants and needs but i've decided i need functionality before performance. Total of $6800 then i need to factor in cost of fitting the gearbox..
-
So today i started writing a "wish list" of things i want to do with the car, i've got 4 things on the list and i'm already at $6,000... fml.

Buying A V36, What Do I Look For?
Seano350GT replied to tadrosone's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Nah the V35's with factory BOSE aren't difficult to change the HU for a Double Din setup at all. Not sure about the V36 though.. can't imagine there being TOO much difference. -
Hey Lee, love that colour man definitely get some pics up. Welcome aboard.

Couple Questions About The 350Gt-8
Seano350GT replied to josh350-8's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
You can access the headlights from the wheel arches as Greg mentioned but i beleive it's easier to access the lights via taking the bumper off even though it takes a bit longer. The first time i took my bumper off and replaced the headlight bulbs and put it back on, it took me 4 hours. Only because i was taking my time and i was having beers during the process.. Once you do it once, the next time will be quicker. -
V35 Uprev Tuning In Sydney
Seano350GT replied to shamrockshirts's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
East Coast Customs.. in Brisbane i think they are. -
What colour? I think they would suit a supra quite well. Haha i will never trust my girl with my car.. she drives a 1.4L Getz.. and is not the most confident driver. I've even offered for her to drive mine before but she declined.
-
Perfect, that's good enough for me. On a side note, good work selling the wheels did you sell them to a forum member? Keen to see them on another car.
-
Yeah i know what you mean, the little compartment where the navi would usually be. I keep my long lug nut and random shit in there. No idea where you'd get one from, might have to try Nissan or Niswreck maybe
-
I have heard the dust levels off the pads i'm buying is very minimal, at least once the bedding has been done. How many km's has the car had the rotors/pads on it for? They may not have been bedded properly if that's the case.

V35 Uprev Tuning In Sydney
Seano350GT replied to shamrockshirts's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I would just see East Coast Customs.. they have been extremely well repped by their customers and pricing isn't over the top. You can buy the Osiris UpRev tuner and related software for $509 or something crazy cheap at the moment. -
Do you have insurance? Drive it off a cliff and buy a new one, problem solved!

Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser Group Buy?
Seano350GT replied to NORBY's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)

Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser Group Buy?
Seano350GT replied to NORBY's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I was doing research on one of these just recently, the fitment from Henry's diffusers seems to be hit and miss like most aftermarket parts are. I've been led to beleive the genuine NISMO rear diffuser is the "real" one that fits 100% perfect like OEM, but it retails upwards of $500. Have a chat to Henry and see if he can source some of the genuine diffusers rather than the replica's, if you can get hooked up with those then i'd be interested. -
That's what i was thinking they'd be, how do you like them? I'm looking at a full set of slotted and dimpled with EBC red stuff pads for $818 which is a better price than anyone else that i've found.

Seano350GT replied to ogz007's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Good stuff man it's always fun getting hands on. Was it the first time you've ever done something like that? Just think next time you need to do it you will knock it over in 1/2 the time -
Matt is your car on the road much? I don't think I've ever seen it in the flesh, looks amazing in pictures though.

Not sure haven't asked him yet, don't know if he'd be up for it. Already been told don't go near them aha..

Couple Questions About The 350Gt-8
Seano350GT replied to josh350-8's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Okay so you have halogen xenon lights. What your gonna need to do is find out if the factory HID ballast is still in the car. If you have this, your all good you just have to get the right bulbs and f**k around with the wiring. If not, your gonna need a HID conversion kit which is at least $150. This is really weird typing on my girlfriends iPad.. -

Seano350GT replied to josh350-8's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Welcome to the forums, Have you already got HID's in the car atm? Alot of them were kept in the car and missed on compliance but most people have halogen xenon lights. No idea about the auto tranny.
